What had I been expecting?
I sighed as I sat up in bed the moment I woke up the next morning and glanced around the bedroom. My heart sank lower to my stomach as I realized that Jack didn't sleep in the bedroom with me.
I guessed I was that irritating to him that the thought of being in the same space with me except necessary was a disgusting idea. He could have slept on the couch if he didn't want to stay on his own bed. I snorted as I glanced at the couch. I had expected him to at least sleep there.
He could have slept on his bed though. After all, he had made it clear that he didn't want anything sexual to do with me. Not being here meant that he wasn't just not attracted to me but also hated me enough not to want to breathe in the same oxygen that I did.
