Location: The Open Ocean – Avon's Journey
Waves crashed violently as a lone figure stood on a makeshift raft, staring out at the endless horizon. Avon Von Deovola, the White Wolf, had left Themyscira behind.
His mind replayed his last moments on the island of warriors. The Amazonian princess, Diana, had offered him a place among them—an offer that tempted him. But Avon was not meant to stay in one place. His instincts pushed him forward, ever seeking new hunts, new challenges, and a path that was truly his own.
Now, the salty wind whipped through his wild white mane, and his golden-red eyes scanned the night sky. He was close. Gotham.
A low growl rumbled from his throat.
He had unfinished business.
With a single step, Avon leapt from the raft, his body vanishing into the water like a phantom of the deep. Moments later, he emerged on the coastline, shaking off the water as his heightened senses locked onto his next destination.
The Hunt had begun.

Location: Gotham City – Crime Alley
The shadows of Gotham were thick with predators and prey. Avon moved unseen, his wolf-like instincts guiding him toward something unnatural in the city.
Then, he smelled it.
Blood.
His ears twitched. A heartbeat too fast, erratic with fear.
With a single leap, he landed silently on a rooftop, peering down into an alleyway below. A young woman was cornered, her back against a brick wall as two men advanced on her.
Avon growled. They weren't men.
Their scent was wrong—tainted by something beyond the natural order. Dark creatures. Vampires.
The first vampire reached for the girl.
Avon dropped.
His claws slashed through the air, severing an arm before the creature even realized what happened. The vampire screeched in pain, but Avon was already moving, grabbing his head and slamming it against the pavement with bone-crushing force.
The second vampire hissed and lunged—only to be caught midair.
Avon squeezed, feeling the vampire's ribs snap like twigs before throwing him into the opposite wall.
The creatures struggled to rise, their supernatural healing already working.
Avon smiled. Perfect.
His aura flared, glowing blood red, taking the shape of a snarling wolf around him. The vampires recoiled.
"You fear me," Avon growled. "Good."
He moved faster than they could react, his claws piercing through the first vampire's chest and ripping his heart out. The creature dissolved into ash.
The second tried to run.
The Hunt had marked him.
Avon was already in front of him.
The vampire barely had time to scream before Avon's jaws clamped down on his throat. His bite burned through the undead flesh, and within moments, there was nothing left but dust.
The girl still cowered nearby, her breathing shaky. Avon turned to her, golden-red eyes glowing in the darkness.
"…Go home."
She didn't hesitate.
Avon stood in the alley for a moment longer, letting the scent of blood and death fade. His hunt was not over.
Far from it.

Location: The Batcave
The Batcomputer beeped as new footage came in. Surveillance cameras had captured something unusual.
Batman's eyes narrowed as he watched the screen. The footage showed a figure in the shadows, barely visible, but moving with unnatural grace.
Then, the figure dropped into an alleyway.
The next few moments were chaos. Claws, fangs, and supernatural power clashed, and in the end, two vampires turned to ash.
But Batman wasn't looking at them.
He was watching Avon.
A deep, low growl escaped him.
Robin, standing nearby, smirked. "That's new. What does this growl mean?"
Batman exhaled. "…Not good."
Robin's expression turned serious. "So, what's the plan?"
Batman's fingers tapped against the console. "We track him. We watch. And if necessary—"
Another growl.
Robin tilted his head. "That sounded like 'contain.'"
Batman didn't respond.
Instead, he pulled up another screen. Avon had arrived in Gotham, and now the question remained: why?

Location: Gotham Underground – Vampire Nest
Avon's senses led him below the city, where the stench of rot and death thickened. He walked through an abandoned subway tunnel, his footsteps eerily silent.
Ahead, he heard them. Whispers. Chatter. A nest.
Then, he saw them.
A group of twenty vampires, gathered around a makeshift throne where a tall, gaunt figure sat, his crimson eyes glowing in the dark.
Avon stepped forward. "You are a plague on this city."
Silence fell.
The lead vampire smirked. "And what do you think you are, beast?"
Avon's aura ignited, the blood-red wolf howling behind him.
"Death."
He charged.

Location: The Gotham Skies – The Batplane
Batman watched from above, observing the battle below through thermal imaging.
He saw Avon tear through the vampires like a force of nature, ripping them apart before they even had a chance to fight back.
Robin whistled. "Okay… that's kinda terrifying."
Batman's grip on the controls tightened.
Superman's voice crackled over the comm. "Are you watching this?"
Batman grunted.
Superman sighed. "That's Kryptonian for 'yes,' right?"
A beat of silence.
Then Batman spoke. "He's more dangerous than we thought."
Superman chuckled. "Or more useful."
Batman's growl cut through the comms.
Robin laughed. "Yeah, that means 'shut up.'"
Below, the battle raged on.

Location: Gotham Underground – The Aftermath
The last vampire collapsed, body burning into dust.
Avon stood victorious, blood still dripping from his claws. His golden-red eyes glowed in the darkness as he surveyed his work.
Then, he smelled it.
Another presence. Watching him.
"…Come out," Avon called.
From the shadows, Batman stepped forward.
For a moment, neither of them spoke.
Then, Batman's voice came, low and measured. "You're reckless."
Avon smirked. "I win."
Batman's eyes narrowed. "That's not the point."
Avon took a step forward. "Then what is the point, Bat?"
A long silence.
Finally, Batman growled.
Avon grinned. "I don't speak 'Bat.'"
Batman exhaled, his voice lowering. "What do you want?"
Avon's expression shifted, serious now. "My own path."
Batman studied him.
"…Then stay out of mine."
Avon chuckled. "No promises."
Batman's cape billowed as he turned. "This isn't over."
Avon watched him go, then turned toward the night sky.
His hunt wasn't over either.
