"You're asking for death!"
Arlong's face twisted in rage as he glared at Kisame.
As a former member of the Sun Pirates, he couldn't believe he was being toyed with by an unknown fish-man.
To Arlong, this was a provocation!
A severe provocation!
An unforgivable provocation!
Without hesitation, he yanked back his massive serrated sword and swung it viciously toward Kisame's waist.
He wanted to kill this despicable fish-man in the most brutal way possible.
Even if they were of the same race, Kisame was nothing but a disgrace.
A fallen fish-man did not deserve to live.
"It's over! Arlong is furious! That fish-man is going to be torn apart!"
"I thought meeting another fish-man would be a joyous occasion, but he turned out to be a disgrace!"
"As a fish-man, he dares to walk alongside humans? He deserves to be killed by Arlong!"
The fish-men aboard Arlong's massive warship watched with amusement and excitement, reveling in his fury.
But then…
The next moment, an unbelievable sight unfolded before them.
Arlong's massive, saw-like sword was stopped—blocked by that so-called fallen fish-man's weapon.
Kisame hadn't even moved.
He stood there like an immovable statue.
The smaller figure of Kisame remained rooted in place, not shifting even an inch—not even his feet.
"He… he blocked it?"
The fish-men's eyes widened in shock.
Arlong's furious strike—Had been stopped so easily?
This was Arlong! The infamous tyrant of Fish-Man Island!
Kisame looked up at the enraged Arlong and shook his head.
"Is this all you've got?"
Feeling the force through his sword, Samehada, he was utterly disappointed. This towering brute was even weaker than that young fish-man, Dof.
"You bastard! You're dead!"
Arlong roared furiously.
His muscular arms bulged with power, veins throbbing as he increased his strength.
"Arlong is completely enraged!"
"This is bad! He's going to end up hurting his own men too!"
The fish-men on the ship shouted in fear as they saw their leader lose control.
If Arlong went on a rampage, the consequences… they didn't dare imagine.
BOOM!
With a thunderous crash, Arlong kicked off the wooden deck, sending splinters flying as his raw power cracked the planks beneath him.
"Die!"
Leaping into the air, Arlong swung his massive sword down toward Kisame's head.
"Not bad. You'd barely qualify as a Genin—
And the worst kind at that."
Kisame's expression remained indifferent, devoid of any emotion.
It wasn't his fault. The hideous brute before him simply wasn't interesting enough to care about.
As Arlong's attack came crashing down, Kisame gripped Samehada's hilt tightly and swung it upward.
No tricks.
No frills.
Just raw, overwhelming power.
Boom!
Splurt!
The terrifying, saw-like sword shattered into useless scraps of metal.
Bright red blood sprayed into the air.
Thud!
"Aghhh!"
The towering Arlong crashed onto the deck, clutching his mangled chest, howling in pain.
A gruesome, gaping wound marred his body—an unbearable sight!
His face twisted with agony, but more than that, it was filled with utter shock and disbelief.
Had this so-called "fallen" fish-man wounded him in a single strike?
Impossible!
Aboard the Arlong Pirates' ship— The once-rowdy crew fell into a stunned silence.
Every fish-man stood frozen, eyes wide with disbelief.
They couldn't comprehend what they had just witnessed.
Arlong, Their mighty leader, Had been struck down with a single blow.
And by another fish-man?
When had Fish-Man Island ever produced someone like this?
"Is… is this guy really a fish-man?"
Arlong stared at Kisame, whose expression remained completely indifferent. He couldn't believe it.
At that moment,
Kisame stepped forward, approaching Arlong slowly.
"You deserve to die… for damaging my ship."
His gaze fell upon the cracked wooden deck beneath Arlong.
That sight angered him.
Without hesitation, he lifted Samehada and swung it downward.
"W-what?!"
"Wait…!"
Arlong flinched, realizing too late what was happening.
The massive weapon, as wide as a wooden door, came crashing toward him.
He had no choice but to dodge with all his might—
Splurt!
Samehada didn't land on his head.
Instead, it tore through his clothing and ripped away the bandages wrapped around it.
As a thick mist of blood filled the air, the barbed, scale-like surface of Samehada tore into Arlong's left side, ripping away a chunk of flesh.
A horrifying, jagged wound burst open—fresh blood gushed out, soaking half of Arlong's body and staining the deck beneath him.
The pungent scent of blood spread through the air.
"Arghhh! You bastard! Die already!"
Arlong, now barely clinging to life, roared like a wounded beast.
With a sudden surge of desperation, he sprang from the ground, aiming the sharp, saw-like tip of his nose straight at Kisame.
BAM!
"AAAHHHH!"
A loud impact, A scream of agony...
Arlong's prized nose smashed straight into Samehada.
That once-proud, straight nose?
Gone.
Now, it was bent and twisted like turbulent ocean waves.
Blood covered his face, but Arlong had lost all reason.
Ignoring the pain, he reached into his mouth and pulled out his fake teeth.
One set in each hand, His bloodshot eyes locked onto Kisame with pure, unfiltered rage.
"Die!!!"
With a powerful push from his feet, Arlong charged forward once more.
"Heh, those teeth sure are convenient!"
Kisame smirked coldly, unfazed. Without hesitation, he swung Samehada in a sweeping arc.
A flash of black light—The torn bandages unraveled, revealing Samehada's monstrous, barbed blade.
Too fast, Arlong couldn't dodge.
His wide eyes reflected the incoming attack as he clutched his fake teeth in each hand, powerless to stop what was coming.
Splurt!
Boom!
The black flash struck, slamming into Arlong's entire body.
Blood and flesh sprayed through the air as his broken form was sent hurtling like a ragdoll. With a thunderous crash, he smashed through the wooden planks and was sent flying into the ship's interior.
A long, bloody trail—strewn with torn flesh—stretched from the deck to the gaping hole in the ship's hull.
"Aaaahhhh!!!"
A high-pitched, childish scream rang out.
"Damn…!"
Hearing Sanji's terrified cry, Kisame felt a jolt of concern.
Not because he feared Arlong would lash out again,
But because he worried the kid would have nightmares after witnessing this.
The scream reached its peak—then suddenly cut off.
Kisame sighed, shaking his head in mild annoyance as he surveyed the ruined ship.
"Well… this ship is completely wrecked now."
Meanwhile, The brutal scene on the deck had plunged the fish-men into stunned silence.
Their boss,The mighty Arlong, feared across Fish-Man Island, a former prisoner of Impel Down—Was dead?
"This… this guy is a demon!"
"He actually killed his own kind?!"
Kisame didn't pay any attention to the fish-men's reactions. Instead, he turned his gaze toward Zeff and Revy.
"Heh… not bad, Zeff. You've got some decent martial arts skills."
Compared to his own brute-force fighting style, Zeff's movements were a lot more refined—
Agile footwork, unpredictable kicks, and thanks to his Devil Fruit, both his legs were ignited with blazing flames.
Unfortunately for the two fish-men he was fighting, they were completely outmatched, suffering a one-sided beatdown.
On the other hand, Revy's fight was much more even. She was holding her own against two fish-men, exchanging blows without losing ground.
Lately, her chakra reserves had been growing again.
Bang! Bang!
Two gunshots rang out.
In Revy's hands, twin pistols fired two different types of bullets,
One engulfed in flames, The other infused with wind chakra, spinning at high velocity. As expected, The wind bullet struck first, piercing the fish-man with a trumpet-like mouth.
Just as his body staggered—BOOM!—the fire bullet ignited, setting him ablaze in an instant.
"Tch, she's really getting creative with chakra now."
"That's the full package—killing and cremation all in one service!"
Satisfied that neither of them needed his help, Kisame turned his gaze toward Arlong's massive pirate ship.
"He's a monster! A demon!"
"R-Run! Run for your lives! Moo Moo, get us out of here!!"
The remaining fish-men panicked the moment Kisame's eyes locked onto them—Chaos erupted as they scrambled to escape.
