"Demon! He's a demon! He's not one of us!"
"Run! Run for your lives!"
On the Shark Superb, the remaining members of the Arlong Pirates were in utter chaos.
"Heh… run?"
"You think you can just run after ruining my mood?"
Kisame's face darkened as he hoisted Samehada onto his shoulder, glaring at the massive pirate ship that had just turned around, ready to unleash his fury.
"Hey… leave this to me!"
A voice came from behind.
"You?" Kisame turned around, puzzled.
"Yeah. I want to test my progress."
"You sure?"
Kisame looked at Revy with curiosity. What was this girl thinking now?
"I don't know."
"But I do know one thing… If the weak want to survive, they must become stronger. They must wield a power capable of destruction."
Revy, usually carefree and mischievous, now wore a calm, expressionless look as she stared at the remaining Arlong Pirates.
"Hiding behind someone else… you'll never become an Admiral that way."
Huh?
For a brief moment, Kisame was stunned.
But before he could react, he saw the once-stoic Revy suddenly tremble slightly—then break into laughter.
"Hahaha! Well? Was that cool or what?"
"Sigh…"
Damn it… I actually believed her for a second.
Kisame let out a helpless sigh.
"Fine, go ahead. Just be careful."
The Arlong Pirates' strongest fighters had already been taken down. The ones left behind were barely worth mentioning—a bunch of nobodies.
If Revy wanted to practice, Kisame had no reason to stop her.
"Haha! Alright then—"
Hearing his approval, Revy's face lit up with excitement. She took a few steps back, then suddenly sprinted forward.
Boom!
The force of her launch cracked the deck slightly beneath her feet as she leaped high into the air.
"Pirates… Mama's here!"
"This girl…"
Kisame facepalmed.
Yeah… there was no hope of her becoming a proper lady.
Instead, he glanced down at the deck and muttered, "This ship's quality is terrible…"
Revy smirked as she heard Kisame grumbling below.
Her thoughts drifted back to everything that had happened since she met him—
People are like dice. They throw themselves toward whatever path they choose. That's what makes them free.
Everyone's circumstances were different. But no matter how insignificant the choice, they had the power to make it for themselves.
Not by accident, not by drifting with the tide—
But by their own will. She chose Kisame.
She chose to trust this ugly, brutal-looking fish-man, whose very core radiated a quiet kindness.
With him—She could be herself, just like she was with family.
But she couldn't keep hiding behind family forever.
It was time to grow.
She had understood this truth ever since the day her kingdom was destroyed.
That's why she chose to face it head-on.
Boom!
After executing a perfect mid-air flip, Revy landed gracefully on the pirate ship's deck. As she took in the terrified expressions of the fish-men surrounding her, excitement lit up her face.
She had always been strong. Even in the past, she could take down a bounty target worth 500,000 Berries on her own.
"It's… it's that human woman!"
"Huh? She came alone?"
On the chaotic deck, the remaining members of the Arlong Pirates, who had initially been paralyzed with fear, suddenly had their gazes harden with cruelty.
As long as it wasn't that demon down below, they had nothing to fear from some weak human.
"Kill her! Kill this inferior human!"
"Kill her and avenge Arlong—!"
In an instant, the deck erupted with bloodthirsty roars.
To these fish-men, this frail, delicate-looking girl was nothing more than a walking corpse.
They felt ashamed of their own fear from earlier. Now, they wanted to vent that frustration—on her.
"Heh."
A low chuckle escaped Revy's lips. Without hesitation, she drew two modified pistols from her slender thighs.
Raise. Aim. Fire.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
She may not be the best martial artist, but she was a damn good gunslinger.
Fiery red and piercing blue bullets shot out of her barrels.
The shouting pirates abruptly fell silent.
None of them had expected her to attack without a single word of warning.
A moment later, the fish-men's eyes burned with rage as they charged at Revy, turning the deck into a chaotic battleground.
For a split second, panic flickered in Revy's eyes. But she quickly steadied herself, leaping high into the air.
In that fraction of a second while airborne, her hands moved like clockwork—lining up her sights on two more pirates.
The dark barrels of her guns roared like demons, spitting scorching flames with each pull of the trigger.
Boom!
Two more fish-men collapsed in the chaos.
"Damn it! This woman—!"
The remaining Arlong Pirates gritted their teeth in fury, as they watched Revy unleash a relentless hail of bullets.
"Despicable human! Using such cowardly weapons!"
Fish-men, naturally gifted with immense physical strength, rarely relied on weapons. And having grown up on Fish-Man Island, most of them had at least some mastery of Fish-Man Karate.
But this woman, She didn't even give them a chance to get close!
They clenched their jaws in frustration as she danced just out of reach,But Revy?
She couldn't care less about their complaints. If anything, she was enjoying this.
Her long, elegant legs moved fluidly, propelling her across the deck as she continued to cut down the pirates.
Her figure danced through the battlefield like a butterfly in flight, evading attacks from the grunts while skillfully picking them off one by one.
With another swift leap, she landed atop the shark-shaped figurehead of the ship.
Then, with absolutely no ladylike elegance, she spat to the side.
"Tch."
"You pirate scum, try out my new toy."
With that, Revy holstered the pistol in her right hand and reached into the pouch on her back, pulling out two small, pitch-black spheres.
The round bombs looked rough, crude—completely devoid of aesthetic appeal.
As she gazed down at the fish-men on the deck, a devilish grin stretched across her lips. With a casual flick of her wrist, the two black spheres tumbled across the wooden planks.
Her grin widened. Her crimson lips parted slightly—
"Detonate."
BOOM! BOOM!!
The deafening explosions rocked the ship. Two massive blasts merged into a single, blinding shockwave, sending up plumes of dust and thick, choking smoke with the acrid scent of gunpowder billowing into the air, blanketing half of the pirate ship.
"Exploding tags?"
The sheer force of the explosion startled Kisame, who had been lounging on a beach chair. Even the water clone he had hidden nearby was obliterated in an instant.
"What the hell did this kid make?"
As he muttered in shock, gunfire erupted once more from the massive ship.
The smoke and scent of blood filled the air. Two gaping holes now marred the deck's already slick, blood-splattered surface.
Amid the carnage, a vivid figure darted and glided across the battlefield like a skater on ice.
Her movements were graceful—elegant, even—but every step she took claimed another life.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The scent of gunpowder and fresh blood thickened as Revy's firearms roared relentlessly.
The initial explosions had wiped out most of the fish-men, but a few stragglers had survived.
On the now-slippery deck, she moved like a fish in water.
Her agile form weaved past enemies, her pistols carving through them like the scythe of the Grim Reaper.
SWOOSH!
Shifting her weight, she executed a sharp turn—her body skidding across the deck in a fluid arc, like a racing car drifting around a curve.
With her right hand raised, her finger squeezed the trigger mercilessly.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Two minutes later, the sea breeze carried with it the stifling scent of death, so pungent it was nauseating.
With her wine-red hair cascading over her shoulders, Revy surveyed the scattered corpses, her chest rising and falling from exertion.
Both guns still in hand, she strode toward the last fish-man, who was desperately crawling backward, his body trembling.
"Damn you! You filthy, lowly human!" he spat, eyes bloodshot with rage. "Do you even realize what you've done?!"
"We are the kin of the Seven Warlords of the Sea!"
"Arlong was Jinbei's sworn brother!"
"You dare kill us?! Just wait, you—"
"Blah, blah, blah. Are you a damn infomercial host?"
Revy's expression twisted in disgust at his endless rambling.
Without hesitation, she raised her gun—
Bang!
When begging for your life, there are two crucial things to remember:
One—make the person holding your fate in their hands feel good.
Two—give them a reason so compelling they have no choice but to let you live.
