In another Namekian village, Frieza sat with a dark expression as he listened to his soldier's nervous report.
"L-Lord Frieza… Sir Zarbon's signal has disappeared. It seems he's been… killed," the subordinate stammered, visibly trembling. He looked ready to drop dead on the spot, terrified that his words alone might trigger Frieza's wrath.
Frieza narrowed his eyes, his face a mask of icy rage.
"Well, well... It seems these people aren't as simple as I thought. How dare they kill two of my top men?" he said coldly, his voice dripping with quiet fury.
The temperature around him seemed to drop, the very air thick with killing intent. Every soldier nearby flinched, terrified out of their minds.
"Find them. All of you. And the moment you do—tell me. I don't care who they are. I'll make sure they beg for death before I'm done with them," Frieza said, voice eerily calm but deadly serious.
His subordinates scrambled to carry out his orders, but before they could even move—
Beep. Beep. Beep.
All their scouters went off at once.
Then, a voice rang out.
"Ohhh, dearest Lord Frieza. Were you talking about us?"
Before anyone could react, three figures suddenly appeared in front of Frieza: Cado, Goku, and Piccolo.
Frieza narrowed his eyes at the sudden arrivals.
"Well, aren't you bold? Showing yourselves before me. Who are you?" he asked with a mocking smirk, his gaze fixed on Cado.
"Who we are doesn't matter," Cado replied with a lazy smile. "You just need to prepare to die."
"So it was you who killed Zarbon and Dodoria," Frieza said, voice now low and dangerous. "And now you have the nerve to stand in front of me and taunt me? You've got guts, I'll give you that."
His words carried a bone-deep chill, and even though the sun blazed above, it felt like a winter storm had rolled in.
"Th-this guy's strong…" Goku muttered beside Cado, cold sweat dripping down his back. He hadn't expected to feel this kind of pressure from anyone.
Piccolo's face was grim. "We definitely underestimated him. This guy… he's on a whole different level."
One of Frieza's soldiers suddenly shouted, staring at the data flashing across his scouter.
"Lord Frieza! That guy's power level is 100,000! The other two are between 60,000 and 100,000!"
They had flown in at full speed and didn't bother masking their energy—so their strength was now out in the open.
Frieza raised an eyebrow but quickly returned to calm.
Ah. So that's how Zarbon and Dodoria got taken out. These three weren't just some no-name nobodies. Still, if they thought that would be enough to beat him, they were sorely mistaken.
The surrounding soldiers were visibly shaken by the readings. None of them had expected such terrifying strength from these strangers.
Frieza looked thoughtful for a moment, then smiled a little too sweetly.
"Well, allow me to make you an offer."
"I'll overlook what happened to Zarbon and Dodoria. I'll even forgive the fact that you just insulted me to my face."
"If you kneel now and swear loyalty to me, I promise you unlimited riches and status. Anything your hearts desire."
His voice was almost playful now. Sure, these three were stronger than his usual henchmen. Maybe he could use them.
Zarbon and Dodoria were barely over 20,000 in power. These guys were easily several times that.
"Pfft—!"
Cado couldn't help himself. He burst out laughing.
Was this guy serious?
"Frieza, you're hilarious. I literally came here to kill you, and now you're offering me treasure and status? That's cute," Cado said, grinning wide.
Frieza's smile disappeared. His face darkened in an instant.
He had extended a rare mercy—and been mocked for it.
No one had ever laughed in his face and lived to tell the tale.
"You'll pay for that laugh… with your life," Frieza hissed. "You'll be groveling at my feet like a dog, begging for mercy."
Cado just kept smiling, completely unfazed. "Oh yeah? I'd like to see you try."
Unbeknownst to Frieza, Cado's current power level was 16 million. And once he activated Kaio-Ken x10, that would jump to 160 million.
Frieza's final form at full strength? Only 120 million.
This fight was already over.
Frieza, enraged, let out a cold laugh. "Fine. Then die."
With a blur, he lunged forward, but Cado didn't flinch. Instead, he turned to Goku and Piccolo and casually said:
"You guys take care of the small fry."
There were dozens of soldiers around, but none with a power level over 10,000. Perfect warm-up material for his friends.
"Leave it to us!" Goku shouted, excited.
He and Piccolo charged into the crowd of Frieza's men, energy flaring.
Meanwhile, Cado vanished in a flash—reappearing instantly in front of Frieza.
"What the—?!" Frieza was stunned. That speed—he hadn't even seen him move!
Cado's fist rocketed upward, landing square on Frieza's chin.
BOOM!
The impact launched Frieza straight into the sky like a rocket.
Before he could recover—
FWOOOSH!
Cado shot up after him, suddenly appearing above Frieza.
He thrust out his hand.
KA-BOOM!
A massive energy blast engulfed Frieza and slammed him straight into the ground.
The shockwave split the air, dust and rubble exploding skyward.
Frieza's body was now buried deep beneath the ground, blood trailing from several wounds.
It had taken less than a second to go from smug tyrant to cratered wreck.
Frieza's first form only had a power level of 530,000.
To Cado, beating him was child's play.
He could've killed him right then—but he didn't.
He didn't need to. He was now stronger than even Frieza's final form. There was no danger here.
Besides, with his Saiyan blood, constant fighting meant constant growth.
And Frieza?
He was the perfect training dummy.
