Chapter 18 - Chapter Eighteen-Restrain

The silence from him made her anxious—so anxious.

It was because of her restrain from sex that made her to always push Jason away then—rejecting all his pleas about getting intimate and that made him to lose feelings, causing him

to show interest in Gina.

What if Lexis lose feelings? And cheat on her?

Oh Lord, she was such a fool.

She tightened her hold around the hem of the hoodie she wore.

Unaware, a big, warm palm rested on top of her small, delicate hand, and she didn't realise she was crying until Lexis had kissed a tear dropping from her eye.

"Stop crying, my love." He hugged her, "I can wait till whenever you are ready, I promise. Don't cry anymore, okay?."

"Okay." Sabrina sniffed, and nodded her head softly against his chest.

Soon after, she fell asleep, and he gently laid her on the bed, and covered her with a duvet.

He turned off the lights and closed the door behind him.

Entering the restroom, he pulled his clothes and turn on the cold shower.

As the cold water touched his skin, he could feel the heat in him reduce.

Just a bit.

Hell, he needed that. Sabrina had turned him on so bad by that kiss, and the way she had responded to his touches, her soft, small body rubbing against him.

She was enjoying it. The kiss and all that they were doing.

But the sudden terror on her face as she pushed him away shocked him. She seemed like she was scared to go further than the kiss, just when he was about to touch her feminine spot.

It was normal if she didn't feel prepared to sleep with him, but the fear in her eyes was more than normal.

What could possibly be the problem?

Gina placed the mug of tea carefully in front of Jason.

"Here, your tea."

Jason didn't bother to take a halve at her as he took a sip of the tea, "What do you want?." It was no doubt Gina needed something from him. It was her habit—to serve him anytime she felt she wanted to ask him for something. It was always money, and he didn't like it one bit, but he had no choice. Gina was a very extravagant person, the very opposite of Sabrina.

Gina made her way behind him and started massaging his shoulders, "Do you have Mr Woodsman's number?."

The question made Jason, whose eyes were closed due to the comfortable sensation,

to snap open immediately.

"No, but I have the assistant's number. Why you asking?."

"I need to tell him something important."

"Like what?."

"I'm afraid it's confidential," she stopped massaging him, "it's really private."

She couldn't tell him ofcourse, what she wanted to tell George. It was a matter that involved him.

That picture alone could put Jason in more trouble than he already was.

"You have to tell me first." Jason pushed her hand away from his shoulder, his face ashen, "or do you want to seduce him like you did to me?."

Shame and anger crept into Gina's body, and her face paled at the hostile statement from him.

Jason smiled ironically, "I see, you want to seduce him."

"No, it's not—." She was interrupted.

"Unfortunately for you, he won't even glance your way, so don't even bother trying."

Gina clenched her hands, "Jason, you're getting it all wrong—."

"Leave!." He thundered as he picked her nag and threw it at her, "I don't want to see you near me or anywhere around the Kennedy's residence!."

Biting her lips, Gina picked her nag and left under the mocking stares of the hossekeepers and servants.

She glanced at the dark eerie night.

'Jason and Sabrina, just you wait and see!.' She swore.

It was already dawn when Sabrina woke up. The sun reflected into the room, making it seemed warm and bright.

She yawned and stretched before realising Lexis wasn't in bed with her. She checked the time on the clock that was placed on the Nightstand.

8:36am.

He must have gotten to work since he was an early riser.

She recalled the kiss last night and her face couldn't help but redden.

It felt strange. Exciting. Comforting.

She subconsciously felt her own lips. No doubt, she loved Lexis. No, she liked him.

Getting up from the bed, she headed for the bathroom. After preparing for a while, she peered through the wardrobe and decided to wear a black crop top and with white high waist jean.

She let her long dark curks free, since she was too lazy to start styling it.

Walking down the stairs, she made her way to the kitchen and suprisingly to her, it was Lexis, stirring something in the saucepan.

Noticing the pair of green eyes on his back, Lexis turned to face her and smiled, "Good morning."

"Morning."

Sabrina sat on the counter, "Tou didn't go to work. Why?."

"Cause I want to spend sometime with my wife."

She watched him as he brought the toasted bread out of the toaster.

"That's the reason?."

"Yeah."

"It's plain stupid, Lexis."

"I don't think staying a day off from work to spend time with my wife is considered stupid."

He moved towards her and stood In between her legs, placing his both hands on her thighs.

Due to the position Sabrina was sitting, it seemed she was an inch taller than him.

"You do see me everyday." She pointed out, feeling the warmth from his hands radiating into her skin despite the jean she wore.

"But I want to see you every second," he said, "you can be my secretary since you're basically jobless now."

"That's all thanks to you." She slapped his hands away lightly as she recalled how she suffered, typing long application letters to several companies but only got rejected, "it's all thanks to you that I'm stuck like a prisoner in this mansion. And don't even lie to me, I know you have a hand in this."

Lexis chuckled, "How did you know?."

"Do you think I'm stupid?," she rolled her eyes, "it's obvious you have a hand in this."

"Then come work for me. Be my secretary."

Sabrina rejected without a second thought, "No. I can only agree to be an employee."
