Lexis shrugged, "Okay."
He carried her down from the counter, "C'mon, let's eat, then we go for shopping."
"Shopping?." She helped him carry the plates of bacons, toasted bread and fried eggs to the dining room. The aroma was tempting.
"They scent nice. I'm sure they'll be delicious."
He smiled, "Have a taste first." He pulled a chair for her to sit and sat as she followed suite.
"Alright." Sabrina took a piece of bacon and placed it in her mouth. She chewed it. One, two—
"Wow! It's nice!," her eyes widened in delight, "you're such a cook."
"Thanks." Lexis laughed.
Sabrina didn't bother saying anything as she kept digging into the food. At some point, she nearly choked.
"Slow down my love." He pushed a cup of water to her when she stretched her hand for it.
"Your food is delicious. It's even better than Naomi's. About her, where is she?."
"She took leave for two weeks," he picked a piece of egg and ate it, "she went to assist her daughter who newly gave birth."
"She told me about it. Her daughter's child."
"Seems you guys have gotten along with so fast."
She smiled at his words and lowered her gaze to her laps.
Lexis held her chin up, "Wait."
He scooted his chair closer towards hers, causing Sabrina's heart to thud violently and —abnormally.
Leaning towards her, he picked a piece of egg crumb that was sticking by the corner of her mouth.
Maintaining eye contact with her, he put it in his mouth and grinned, "Delicious."
Sabrina's heart beat wildly. Out of control. Her feelings were out of control. How…how could he do that? It was…weird.
"E-excuse me." She got up and quickly raced out of the there, Lexis' throaty laugh loud in mansion.

"Mr Maris, Lexis' security is very tight. There is no way we can strike or spy on him." A black hoodies man said to Maris, who was the complete replica of Lexis, but seemed five years older with a pair of blue eyes and shorter black hair.
He casually crossed his legs as he sipped the wine in his hand, "Lexis seems to be getting smarter each second," he dropped the wine, "really, really smarter."
"But," the hoodied man came forward, "it looks like he has a woman with him now, by the name Sabrina Wonders." He threw a file at Maris who caught it effortlessly.
He opened it and pulled out a picture of young pretty woman with long wild hair, smiling. Her green eyes were dazzling.
"She's the disowned daughter of a middle-class family. They got married recently."
Maris traced Sabrina's frame with his long, slender fingers.
"I need to say, my brother really have taste in beauties," his lips curled up, " however, isn't Claire's disappearance enough to make him sober? He had rushed to marry another beauty after seven years?."
He traced the picture once more, "Once Lexis shows a slight interest in any woman, it shows she must be precious to him. Unfortunately for this beauty, she will be our bait."
"And she's going to be easy to take down." The other man chimed in as he uninvitedly sat down on a couch.
"Of course. But for now, keep pressuring his obsessed childhood friend, Emily. I believe she can take this Sabrina down with just a snap of her finger." Maris took a sip of his wine again, "Make her so jealous she'd come Spain to deal with her."
"At your command, Mr Maris."
He was willing; willing to do anything to bring Lexis down from the position of the CEO of Woodsman company, even if it meant taking his woman away from him once more.

"There are still plenty clothes for me to wear, why should we still shop for more?." Sabrina asked as Lexis led her into a huge, rich-looking boutique. She had refused when she was told the shopping was for clothes, but somehow, Lexis had convinced her.
"You're my wife. It's normal to have plenty of clothes and still shop for more."
"That's money wastage."
He wrapped his arm around her tiny waist, "Not to me."
"We won't buy much. Just two or three."
"Anything you say."
"Good day, Mr Woodsman." A salesgirl walked towards them with a smile, "Good day, Mrs Woodsman."
Sabrina smiled warmly, "Hey."
"Find the most beautiful and befitting gown for my wife. The one that would suit her taste and mine as well."
"At your service, Mr Woodsman." The salesgirl smiled once more, gesturing at Sabrina, "Mrs Woodsman, this way please."
Sabrina was led to a dressing room, while the salesgirl left to prepare the gowns for her to choose.
Five gowns were brought to her—they were all pretty. But the one that caught her attention was a black mini gown with a slight slit, and was off-shoulder with V-neck.
It had tiny gems that decorated it beautifully.
"I like this one," Sabrina picked it up, "it's pretty."
"Then let's try it on."
The salesgirl rushed out and closed the door behind her.
By the time Sabrina was done wearing the dress, she was momentarily stunned staring at her reflection gazing back at her in the mirror.
The dress fitted her just perfectly—it made her body more curvy—her hips wider, and waist tinier. It even complemented her dark, curly long hair.
The necklace Lexis gave her fitted the gown so well too.
Few seconds later, the salesgirl walked in and her eyes widened in envy, suprise and admiration.
"Oh Lord, you look so beautiful! No doubt your body is a definite tea! Let me get Mr Woodsman to see you !." She left before she—Sabrina could voice out her protest.
She stood, anxiously waiting for Lexis to show up.
Would he be satisfied? Or perhaps show the admiration she imagined he would when he sees her? Or worst still, say the dress didn't fit her at all, or she wasn't pretty enough up to his standards?
She bit her lips. Why was she bothered about his opinion on her?
She didn't realise Lexis was already in the room until she heard him muttered, "Lord save me."
