Long Tian felt like his head was about to explode. His vision blurred and his legs felt weak, almost falling to his knees.
However, as the pain intensified and he thought his head was really about to explode, he felt something cool coming from his entire body and going to his head. It felt liquid but at the same time didn't.
Too heavy to be gas, this mysterious cool sensation entered his mind, and the pain started subsiding.
Long Tian felt his head literally expand. It felt like the back of his head was getting farther from the from the front. But when he put his hands on his head, it was still the same size.
This sensation continued for a few seconds, during which the pain got less and less.
Finally, the sensation of expansion stopped, but the cool feeling continued.
Then, as more and more of the cool mysterious substance entered his mind, he felt a change take place.
First came the pleasure.
There are multiple events that cause pleasure in someone's life, but the one that causes the most immediate and overwhelming pleasure is an orgasm.
But what Long Tian was feeling far surpassed an orgasm, but it was not physical, his body did not transmit any pleasure signals to his brain.
It was inside his head, inside his consciousness.
Long Tian was completely overwhelmed at that moment, standing still as two massive beasts fought less than a 100 meters from him.
The Gorilla had not managed to get the Dragon off of it. And it was already extremely injured, bones showing in its chest wounds and even one of its arms had been bitten off.
It desperately screamed for the lion, but its situation did not allow it to turn its head and see that the lion was dead.
Then, just as the Dragon finally managed to get its jaws on the gorilla's neck, Long Tian woke up.
Everything felt different. He could see new colors. Literally, colors that simply did not exist before in his eyes appeared. It was not something overwhelming, like the grass and leaves becoming red or purple, not something crazy like that.
No, it was a minute difference that he could instantly notice because the Lion that was white before had become something else. It was not entirely white anymore.
If he had to describe, it would be an extremely bright violet, but it was also darker than violet. It was just too strange to describe.
Also, he could feel.
Yes, before, he was relatively comfortable in the armor.
But now, he could feel every single part of it that touched his skin.
He could feel his eyelids over his eyes.
He could hear his own heart, he even heard his own blood flowing, but it was very low.
Suddenly, as he was marveling at those changes, he heard a pained cry coming from his left, which prompted him to look.
There it was, the gorilla on the ground, he could see even the minute strands of fur on its skin. He could see the blood on the ground, the massive chest wounds and the glazed look in its eyes as a massive jaw removed itself from its neck.
Seeing the gorilla dead and the Dragon lifting its head, Long Tian finally remembered where he was.
"Oh Shit!"
He said as the Dragon immediately turned towards him. Its pitch-black eyes looking at him with hunger.
Long Tian immediately summoned the beast soul that he had just acquired and that caused that transformation in him.
A beautifully carved sword appeared in his hand.
It was not the same color as the lion, it was entirely white, but Long Tian had a nagging feeling that he simply could not see the true color of this sword.
As soon as it appeared, Long Tian felt a connection to it and information appeared in his mind.
He instantly knew that this sword and any other weapon beast soul of its tier that he found had one property, they could change size at will.
Then, he saw the Dragon suddenly inhaling deeply, and when it opened its mouth wide, the world slowed in Long Tian's eyes.
It was like everything became at least 2 times slower. He could see the shockwave coming from deep within the Dragon's throat.
He crossed his arms in front of him, covered himself with his wings. But then, his mind remembered something, and he even felt stupid for not thinking about it before.
He summoned a shield he gained from killing a King Gorilla from before and also used it to protect himself.
When the sound blast reached him, Long Tian was forced back 10 meters, leaving deep pitches on the ground.
His ears were ringing a bit but overall he was fine.
He unsummoned the shield and held the sword with his two hands.
The Dragon, having finished its attack, looked at him again, but when it saw the sword in his hands, its body posture changed.
Before, it had its neck exposed, its head elevated and its wings opened, radiating majesty.
But the moment its eyes fell on the sword, it immediately retracted its neck, put its wings around its body and crouched, even letting out a low growl.
Long Tian could swear to have seen the Dragon's eyes contract for a moment there.
The Dragon did not attack, just stayed there looking at him and growling, its entire body radiating caution at that moment.
Long Tian silently looked at the sword and marveled a little, it could make a Dragon wary just by existing.
Then, Long Tian flapped his wings and dashed at the Dragon.
The Dragon immediately swiped its claws at him, not letting it get close.
The Dragon was fast, but Long Tian's improved perception could still keep up with its movement.
As the massive claws were about to reach him, Long Tian lifted the sword above his head and willed it to grow in size.
Suddenly, the blade of the sword that was just under a meter started to elongate.
It rapidly grew until it became 10 meters long.
Long Tian did not feel any difference in the weight, which was incredible.
He then swung the massive sword at the incoming claws.
As claw and blade met, the sword cut through one of the claws before being stopped by the others.
Long Tian felt a massive force through the sword, and as he started to be thrown back, he flapped his wings with full force, trying to match the Dragon.
He stopped moving backwards but his arms felt an immense pressure.
The Dragon saw its claws be stopped by a little human and was enraged, suddenly flapping its wings and putting its whole strength into its limb.
The effect was immediate, Long Tian first felt like his arms were about to break before bringing the blade down, making it slide across the claws.
All claws were cut through, the blade continuing to cut through the paw of the Dragon before stopping at the bone.
The Dragon roared in pain and retreated. Thick blood dripping from the wound.
Long Tian was impressed. A Dragon was stopped by this sword.
He pressed the advantage, flying towards the Dragon from above.
But the Dragon did not stay still. It took off flying, meeting Long Tian in the air.
It seemed more cautious now, using its other paw, it only used its claws to briefly stop the blade before swinging its wounded one at him from the side.
Long Tian had to dodge, not having time to cut the claws again.
The battle continued in this way, with Long Tian and the Dragon appearing evenly matched.
But as the battle continued, Long Tian started to feel a little tired, his arms burning from the force he was putting into every clash.
Long Tian thought of a plan and put it into action.
He flew higher and higher, with the Dragon behind him.
Once he felt he was distant enough from the Dragon, he dove down.
He went directly towards the Dragon's face.
The Dragon swiped its claws once more at him, but just as his blade was about to be stopped, Long Tian used the Space Sword Art.
The effect was instantaneous.
The claws and some fingers of the Dragon were immediately cut off, the blade continuing towards its head.
Long Tian felt the blade start to slow down and had to stop cutting space, allowing for the sword to reach the Dragon's head.
The Dragon only had time to react because of the slight speed lost due to the art, allowing it to move its head to the side slightly.
The sword came down with fury, making a deep cut on the snout of Dragon, reaching the bone.
But the sword stopped.
Just as Long Tian was about to use the art once more, he felt something massive crash against his side.
He was sent flying, not having expected something to hit him.
He flew hundreds of meters back in the air, his shoulder and chest hurting a lot.
The Dragon had slapped him away, without the wings he simply couldn't contest with its strength.
The sword also went flying, but Long Tian simply summoned it back.
He huffed with a bit of exhaustion. That last slash had been his full force.
He would have to change strategies to kill this beast.
The Dragon came after him roaring angrily, but it did not use that sound attack again.
Long Tian just started flying away from it while thinking about how to kill it.
He connected with the sword once more, paying attention as it returned to its original size.
Comparing feelings, he felt that the sword could grow ten times more than before at the limit. But that would start tiring him.
With this information, Long Tian turned around and flew towards the Dragon again.
It was about to stop pursuing Long Tian when it saw him coming. It roared, increasing its speed even more.
Long Tian clashed with the Dragon again, having expanded the sword to 10 meters once again.
This time, the Dragon did not attack him with its other paw, the one that he had just cut through, but swung its entire body.
Long Tian saw a massive, scaled pillar come at him and let the claw throw him back.
The Dragon had decided to attack using its tail.
As he was not prepared for that, he was forced to retreat.
But he dashed right back at the Dragon immediately.
They clashed once more, and the Dragon tried to swing its tail at him. But this time Long Tian was prepared.
He shrunk the sword, so that the claw would go above him, and then turned to the tail coming rapidly at him.
He only had time to slash it while once again increasing the size of the sword.
As the blade and the scales made contact, Long Tian felt the bones in his hands crack before he started using the Space art.
The sword cut into the tail deeply, but Long Tian did not manage to cut it entirely as he became too tired and couldn't maintain the art.
He was sent flying again, sure that he had broken at least one finger.
The Dragon roared in pain as its tail stopped moving. Long Tian had cut through over half of its thickness, cutting even the bone.
After stabilizing himself, having almost fallen down to the tree level, Long Tian summoned the sword again.
This had to be the last clash, or he would have to flee.
Seriousness burning in his eyes, Long Tian flew at full speed at the Dragon.
The Dragon saw that and was even more furious, its roar echoing all around the first ring, echoing due to the mountains.
As they approached each other for the final time, Long Tian clashed with the half-cut claw once more.
This time, the Dragon seemed a bit crazed, as it put its full weight into the claw, making the sword cut through the claw and get stuck in its paw.
It ignored the pain and shot its head forward, trying to snap its jaw around Long Tian.
Long Tian saw through its plan and instead of danger saw an opportunity.
He waited until the Dragon had fully opened its mouth; its eyes only focused on him.
Then he immediately retracted the sword, getting it free from the paw.
Finally, he assumed the position of thrusting, holding the sword with two hands on the side of his head.
When the Dragon was so close he could feel its breath, he could see its eyes realizing something was wrong, but it was too late.
He thrust the sword with full force, expanding it to maximum size at the same time. He aimed it at the beast's eyes, but he missed, and instead it went towards the top of the beast's mouth.
He felt an incredible resistance and the sword start to push him back, so he used everything he could to activate the Space Sword Art once again.
The resistance vanished. The Dragon continued forward until the tip of its chopped snout was less than a meter from him.
Then, Long Tian saw the Dragon's pupils widen and become glazed, its body starting to fall.
Long Tian let go of the sword, the massive beast falling towards the ground with a gigantic sword entering in its mouth and exiting in the back of its head, passing through where its brain is.
After falling for a few seconds, the beast reached the ground, making a massive sound and crushing multiple trees under its body.
