Chapter 9: The Fastest Man in the Shinobi World
Hokage's Office
Sarutobi Hiruzen peered into a crystal ball like some witch scrying the future.
The orb's surface shimmered, revealing Class 1-A's classroom.
Hiruzen had two sons:
The eldest—now an ANBU elite
Sarutobi Asuma—a rebellious brat making his life hell
Watching the scene, Hiruzen chuckled.
Kids will be kids.
But competition bred growth.
Asuma had coasted too long on "Hokage's son" privilege—perhaps Yuchuan could light a fire under him.
"Haru," Hiruzen called. "I need Yuchuan's full activity log for the past three days."
"Understood."
A voice answered from the shadows—ANBU operative Haru.
Hiruzen had high hopes for Yuchuan.
Why else snatch him from Danzō's claws?
Now the boy was motivating Asuma too—two birds with one stone.

Haru reappeared in under three minutes, her frog mask hiding all but a pixie-cut fringe.
Hiruzen skimmed the report—frowning at Danzō's continued meddling (though no major incidents).
Then—a smile.
A hardworking boy indeed.
Knock knock
"Enter."
The door opened to reveal a blond young man.
"Hokage-sama."
"Namikaze." Hiruzen's gaze sharpened. "Is Kushina unstable?"
Uzumaki Kushina—Nine-Tails' jinchūriki.
Among the Tailed Beasts, the Nine-Tails reigned supreme—a WMD every village coveted.
Jinchūriki were both weapons and liabilities—prone to rampages or enemy abduction.
Like when Kumo nearly stole Kushina months prior—stopped only by Minato.
"Kushina… escaped the barrier again," Minato rubbed his neck. "She sealed two ANBU guards in place."
"Minato, I know your feelings, but the Nine-Tails is non-negotiable." Hiruzen exhaled smoke.
"Understood!" Minato straightened.
"Relax." Hiruzen's tone lightened. "With your Flying Thunder God, she's untouchable now."
Flying Thunder God Technique—a space-time ninjutsu allowing instant teleportation via marked seals.
By tagging Kushina, Minato could reach her anywhere, anytime.
Making him, unequivocally,the fastest man alive.
"Is Jiraiya still in the village?" Hiruzen asked suddenly.
"Yes. He's helping me develop a new jutsu."
"Oh?" Hiruzen raised a brow. "What technique requires both your geniuses?"
"Still refining it," Minato grinned. "I'll demonstrate once perfected."
"I'll hold you to that."
Their laughter filled the office—a rare moment of warmth.

Yuchuan's eye twitched.

Yuchuan nodded.
In just three days, he'd seen Kakashi's fanclub—basically baby Sasuke 1.0.
