Chapter 4 - Four

It's been a few weeks since the incident happened, and I haven't stopped thinking about the handsome stranger who saved me. I've decided to nickname him 'Jay' since the letter J was the letter I saw on his wrist. The whole scenario of him saving me keeps replaying in my mind, and I can't deny the attraction and yearning I feel for him. I'm not sure who he is or wherever he is, but what I'm sure about is that I do want to see him again.

I have no leads on his identity, I don't even know his name. I've been trying to research the tattoo I saw on his wrist the other day. Maybe that would be a clue to finding him or something about him, but I've only hit dead ends. I have nothing on the handsome daredevil I met a few weeks ago.

My overactive teenage girl mind keeps creating fantasies about me and this stranger and I need to focus. I've not gotten as much work as I would have liked to get done because every second my mind drifts to the incident that happened a few weeks ago. Probably if I met this stranger I would stop having these fantasies and realize there was nothing so special about him.

Since I don't think I'll ever find this guy I just need to convince myself I'm never going to see him again. He was probably just a passerby who decided to help a damsel in distress, and that mission was accomplished.

"Olivia," Shane calls out, sitting just a few meters away from me.

We've been having a class for the last 45 minutes but I haven't even been listening. My mind was too focused on the handsome stranger who saved me.

"I'll meet you up at the cafeteria in a bit, I need to meet up with Mrs Jules." He tells me.

"Okay," I reply Shane won't ever leave me on my own if he didn't have something important to do. I know it had to be about schoolwork.

Just before I pick up my things and attempt to leave the class, I start hearing chattering from the blonde queens of the school. They seem to be talking about a new kid that's so handsome and gorgeous. I could imagine how they felt because a few weeks ago I met someone so gorgeous that would give every guy in this school a run for their money.

"Dibs." I hear

"No, I already said dibs first!"

A few moments later the blonde queens are already arguing over this guy. I silently giggle making sure I'm not noticed by any of them before I walk out of the class.

After a short while, I'm at the cafeteria being served my meal. Just as I reach out to grab my juice counter over the counter I hear a very familiar voice.

"Olivia." A deep voice calls out calmly.

Wait!!! I know this voice, it couldn't be, am I imagining this because this had to be Jay. But how possible would it be for him to be Right behind me? Or was my mind playing tricks on me?

I already started feeling butterflies in my tummy with just the thought that he was behind me. Finally, I'll get to see him again, I will be able to say a 'thank you' and even know his name. I know all the fantasies in my head won't come to pass, because I doubt he would fall for a girl like me. But at least I'll be able to take another glance at him. This would be the moment I've waited for all this while and now it's here.

I turn back to see a pair of green eyes studying me. He was almost flustered as I turned back so abruptly.

"Hey," I say softly.

"How's your lip doing?" he says, his eyes focused on my lips.

"I think it's all better now" I reply to him.

He placed his finger over the place where the injury was supposed to be, then he continued "It healed nicely."

"We should go eat." He says, grabs me around my wrist, and starts leading me his way. It's weird because he takes the lead. He's no bodyguard, he gives me alpha male energy and I don't know why but I feel so comfortable with him although I barely know him.

We both start walking through the cafeteria and I can tell his piercing green eyes are scrawling the whole place for a decent area for us to sit down.

It doesn't take too long for everyone to stop whatever they are doing and I notice all their glances are turned towards us.

I would have never expected anything less, this guy is a complete bad boy. He's handsome, has pale skin, and perfect features. His green eyes are my favorite, no reasonable human being could deny how good he looks.

"Who is she?" I hear the voice sounded like it was from one of the blonde queens.

"Who cares! Who is he?" another voice said, it wasn't a voice I was familiar with.

It only took moments for me to start hearing chattering all around the place of the handsome stranger I was with.

"I found somewhere." He says to me and continues pulling me in his direction instinctively.

His green eyes are focused on me while we both sit down. Some few seconds pass and neither of us says a word, and at this moment I'm both shy and confused. Like how could it be? He's right in front of me after all this while. My heart already skipped several beats before I found the courage to say something.

"Thank you," I say sheepishly, tucking my hair behind my ears.

"I don't know what I would have done without you, I mean.."

"I wouldn't ever let anything happen to you Olivia." He says.

"You can count on that" he continues, a look of disgust plastered on his face before he adds "I would make sure, he never comes close to you again."

I didn't know what to reply because I didn't believe there would be a better protector than him. I don't know him, but I feel like I can trust him with my life.

THE END.
