Chapter 4 - THE BOOK OF THE SUN

Chapter 4 – The Book of the Sun

Kael slowly opened his eyes.

The ceiling was made of stone, uneven, lit only by shafts of light that descended through small cracks at the top of the cave. The air was humid, but calm. Silent. Safe.

He must have been about six years old. His heart was pounding in his chest, as if he instinctively knew that something very important had happened.

Beside him, wrapped in an old blanket, was a book with a thick, dark cover, with a strange symbol engraved on the front: a circle with three spiral rays—the solar emblem of the Yun.

Kael picked it up with small, hesitant hands. As he opened it, strong, precise letters danced on the yellowed pages. It was the handwriting of someone who wrote with urgency, but also with love.

"If you are reading this, Kael... it means that I failed to protect you with my own hands. But I left behind the most valuable thing I have: the knowledge that can save you. That can transform you."

Kael turned the page. The contents were strange to a child, but something inside him understood. Diagrams of the human body, solar energy flows, breathing techniques, meditation postures. "The secret is not just to absorb the light. You must merge with it. The sun is a living force, Kael. And it responds to your will. But never force it. Never fight it. Breathe. Feel. Guide it with your heart." Kael closed his eyes, sat on the floor, and tried to copy the first breath described there. A simple sequence of inhalations and retentions, accompanied by a total focus on the light touching his skin. And then... He felt it. A slight vibration. A gentle warmth. Something moved inside his chest. It wasn't just warmth. It was a presence. "Father...?" he whispered, tears welling up without him realizing it. But there was no answer. Only the light. In the corner of the cave, a dim hologram activated. It was his father, Darius, with a tired smile.

"You are strong, Kael. Stronger than I have ever been. And you will need to be. Because HelionTech... will never stop searching."

The image faded. The boy hugged the book tightly. There, alone, far from everything, he understood his destiny.

He was the Son of the Sun. And his training had begun.
