Pearls and Jades
On the 15th day in winter, in a cold room, there sat a handsome man with cold but beautiful golden black cat eyes, sharp like eyebrows, a pointed nose, and black raven hair, with a smirk on his face.
The room was at freezing point, his aura alone able to send chills down even the bravest spine. His left and right hand men (best friends) stood by his side like loyal guards to a dark emperor, like an emperor and his eunuchs. That man was none other than Xavier Draven, the feared and ruthless CEO of Draven Industries, Technologies and Corporations.
"Who was she with?" he asked Marcus, his right hand man, his voice sharp as ice.
"I said your fiancée was with your younger brother Leon," Marcus replied, watching Xavier's reaction with slight unease.
"Oh," Xavier whispered with a sinister edge, twirling a dagger between his fingers with deadly grace, "it seems it's been a long time since I trained Leon in the basement."
Marcus's spine stiffened, but before he could interject, Lucas, Xavier's ever loose lipped left hand man, blurted out, "For fuck's sake Xavier, he's your younger brother. You can't do that to him just because he was talking to your fiancée! Perhaps it's not like they were even kissing or hugging."
Lucas, oblivious to the darkening atmosphere in the room, kept talking. "And besides, they're in the same university, so it won't even cause any harm if they date. Just imagine, they're of the same age. Leon is handsome and cute, while your fiancée is beautiful like a goddess who sparkles and dazzles like pearls and jade. Their wedding would be that of a prince and a fairy."
All along his blabbering, Xavier was glaring daggers at him, each glance screaming shut up or die, while Marcus was looking at him like a corpse, maintaining a silence that screamed louder than words.
