Wow, I never expected I was ever going to see them again, but seriously, I actually saw them. It felt so nice to see them, even if their father was being a meanie.

Waking up on my bed, I checked the time it was some minutes past ten, I left the hospital around 6 in the morning, and as I got home, I headed for my beautiful, comfortable bed.
I cleared my house, giving the house a very nice and comfortable look.
There was nothing for me to do so I think the best thing to do now is to bake, I love baking I use it to pass time whenever I'm bored, my mum never wanted me to bake because I was fat as she likes to call me but I know I was just thick, she says I'm fat and I still want to bake that who does that but little did she know I have passion for baking.
While turning the batter, I heard my phone ring a payphone by you know Maroon5. I walked back to the living to get my phone, checking the caller ID. It was Katherine, my best friend, the first friend I made when I moved here.
"Hey Katie" I said, connecting the call, "hi bitch, how are you doing" she screamed at the other end of the phone. "I'm always good Katie, how's work going too busy to call your bestie" I said trying to form a sad tone.
"Don't say that I'm the one to say that you didn't call me, I called the last time" she said fake crying.
Yeah, we do this a lot. Sometimes I wonder why we are friends. We are so completely different from each other but we make the best pair.
"Okay, I'm sorry for not calling, how's muffin hope she's good"
"Muffin is doing great I'm sure she misses you"
Muffin is her cat which I adore a lot, that girl is so cute and adorable I actually miss her.
"Tell her I miss her too,"
"So, how has life been without me for the past few months?"
"It has been good same time boring, you know the man I told you about"
"Which one, is it the idiot that shouted at you when you were just trying to be a nice and civilised person" she said, ever since I told her about the incident of me meeting Xavier and Vincent, she already hates their father just by hearing about him without even seeing the person.
"Yes, he is the one. Yesterday night, Xavier was rushed into the hospital. He was having a severe asthma attack,"
"Oh my God, the little boy, I hope he's okay now," She asked, sounding so concerned about him.
"He is okay now, and I also met his father yesterday...." she interrupted immediately
"Don't tell me the idiot also accused of trying to kidnap his child in the hospital." I could hear she was starting to get angry.
"Actually, he didn't do that. He was being a meanie as usual, he couldn't even say thank you, he just carried Xavier and walked out"
"I'm not surprised, he shouted at you just for taking his kids for ice cream," She said with a huff.
"It's okay Katie, let it go" What about Tristan?" She asked, I haven't told her about Tristan, I don't know how to break the news to her.
"Hey girl, why are you silent?" I guess she was already getting suspicious.
"Tristan is fine," I said immediately, which made her cough. "Now Mari baby don't lie to mama, what did Tristan do" Immediately the dam broke loose, I was crying again the tears came out rapidly, whenever that image of Tristan and Chloe appeared in my mind it brought tears it hard to forget a heartbreak.
"Marina, what did he do?" Katie asked seriously, I have no other choice than to tell her the truth.
"On our anniversary I went to give Tristan a surprise visit but I walked into he and chloe making out in the living room, he didn't look ashamed or remorseful, he just look at me and told me he prefers being with someone that can give him what he wants, he even called me a black bitch" I explained to her in between my cries.
"Wait.....so you are telling me Tristan did all these and I'm just knowing, I knew that Chloe girl was a bitch but I didn't just pay attention to her, forgetting that why didn't you tell me Mari?" she calmed her tone at the end.
"I'm sorry Katie, I didn't know how I was going to tell you, I didn't want to disturb you,"
"You are not disturbing me Mari, never, I think he had the guts to do these because I wasn't home, but no worries, I will be home soon," She said
"Okay, I miss you so much, Katie," I said to her. I miss my bestie so much right she is the best bestie one can ever find.
"I miss you too, Mari.....Sorry babe, I have to go now. My boss is here," she said, and the call was cancelled.
Talking to Katie is a very nice therapy. I dropped my phone back on the table and went back to the kitchen to keep making my own homemade cookies.
I'm checking the time now. It's now five in the evening. I packed my cookies in a jar, placed them in a bag, and walked out of my apartment. I took the elevator down.
"Good evening, Mr John." I greeted the old man who stayed at the gate of my apartment complex, and he smiled and waved back at me.
I began my journey to the park. I love going to the park and watching the sun set. It is a very nice view and taking in the outside breeze was another thing entirely.
Getting to the park, it was a little bit scanty, there were not really a lot of people present today. I walked to an empty bench, got myself comfortable, and then I started reading a book I brought along with me. It was a very interesting book which I haven't finished, it was The Godfather by Mario Puzo.
