I tried to open my eyes, but it felt like someone had glued my eyes together. No matter how hard I tried I could not open them. Finally after trying it again and again I managed to open my eyes.
However it was quite dark. I quietly got up in the dark and started walking. My body moved on it's own in the dark place as if I've been here before and soon it led me to a light switch, I instinctively turned on the light and the room became dimly lit.
"Where am I?" I muttered under my breath.
I gazed at my surroundings, it was a cramped space with a sheet on the floor. I thought that this was a bed.
This...was....a bed....this was MY bed!
The bed in the PAST! MY GOD! Did god finally pity me?
WAS I REBORN!? I inhaled the surrounding air slowly and let go. All I could remember was regret and hate while I was on my death bed. My final wish was to be reborn and take revenge.
On my mother and father. I sat on the thin sheet layed on the ground and placed my hand on my forehead.
PAH!
I slapped myself right across the face.
"Not dreaming." I sighed, "Wait...are dead suppose to be dreaming?" Well that doesn't matter. The god's have given me a second chance and I will not let them down.
I smiled, I never thought such a day would ever come but it did. I needed to plan my revenge and carefully. I wanted them to live a life worse then hell, a life they can never escape.
But for now, I want to sleep. I thought as I lay back on the sheet.
The night was soundless, but there were faint echoes that I just could not ignore. Not echoes but footsteps. It's crazy how you can identify someone on the basis of there footsteps.
My parents were thanked for that.
And these footsteps were gentle, with soft landing that belonged perfectly to my mom alone. I could no longer sleep, what on earth was she even doing this late at night? This did not happen in my previous life, probably because I was a coward. But not anymore.
I stood up and quietly opened my room's door, it did not make a sound, and I was proud for myself due to that. But this wasn't the time! I tip toed and walked around the house. It was exactly how I remembered, although I would have preferred to forgot.
The pictures on the wall, the clock's ticking sound, the table where everyone used to eat. I remembered every detail correctly. As I walked, my eye's caught sight of a mysterious figure.
The figure was thin, extremely thin, it had a long neck, and the hair was held in a ruff bun with the help of a jade. I would never forget that jade no matter what, the jade she gave me and it led to such an insufferable life, all for what?
So she could raise my little brother better? So she had to sacrifice me? Ah mother, if only you didn't.
My mother's name was lily, I once overheard my grandma saying that she choose this name in hopes that she would grow in a gentle young lady, but this name really didn't suit her.
Let's be real here, what ever shit she did with me was by no means gentle or whatsoever.
I glared at Lily's back as she seemed to be finding something in a hurry, shoving everything inside the drawer. I stared without a blink, and then as if she had found what she wanted, she gave a satisfied look and left.
I just blinked in confusion wondering what on Earth she wanted to find, but it was useless now, so I too went back to sleep.
Sleep tightly, because I swear on heaven's this will be the last time you'll be able to do that.
