Chapter 2 - loguetown

Elara's eyes widened, a mix of surprise and defiance washing over her. "You think you can just take me in? You don't know who you're dealing with, Drakon." Drakon smirked, his confident demeanor unwavering. "Oh, I know plenty. A rogue with a past, a clever mind, and a knack for trouble. But trouble's about to meet its match."

She struggled to her feet, brushing dirt from her tattered clothes. "And what if I refuse to go with you? You think you can take me down?" Drakon drew closer, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword. "I don't need to take you down. I just need to convince you that it's in your best interest to come quietly." Elara narrowed her gaze, calculating her next move. "Convince me? You've got some nerve. What makes you think I'd trust a bounty hunter?"

"Because," he replied, his voice low and steady, "I'm not your average bounty hunter. As you saw, I ate the water water fruit. Although I don't like using this ability, i can control even the liquid in one's body to course internal damage. In other words, I can kill you in a instant if I liked. Or I could cripple you by blood bending you."

Elara's gaze never wavered, her eyes locked on Drakon's as she assessed the threat. "The Water Water Fruit, you say? That's a rare and powerful ability. A logia I might add?

But threats only take you so far. What makes you think I value my life enough to surrender?"

"Fine. If you don't value your life, maybe you value your crews more. I was gonna let them go since they didn't have bounties. But, since you want the hard way out, I'll show it to you." He said, in a cold manner

He slowly looked at one of Elara's fallen cremated, he used his devil fruits ability to control the flow of their blood, resulting in them coughing out blood as well as blood coming out of their ears, nose and even eyes. Elara hears the screams of her comrades beggs him to stop what he was doing, but as if it's to punish her, Drakon continues up until only she if left."

"You monster, I told you to stop, so why didn't you?" Asked Elara, with her eyes filled with tears. "Why? Because you didn't listen to me when I told you to come quietly." He said coldly. "Now than, time to get going." Drakon picks up a tied Elara and puts here on his shoulders, after reaching a surfboard, he steps on the board and uses his "water water fruits" ability to call a massive wave from behind, the uses this wave as a means of transport. "Next stop, loguetown."

As the wave lifted the surfboard, Drakon adjusted Elara's position on his shoulders, securing her firmly in place. The wind whipped through his hair as he stood tall, the wave propelling them forward at incredible speed. Elara's protests were muffled, her face pressed against his back as she struggled futilely against her restraints. The coastline blurred into a greenish haze as they rode the wave, the ocean spray stinging Drakon's skin. He navigated the board with ease, his Water Water Fruit ability allowing him to sense the wave's dynamics and adjust their course accordingly.

As they approached the shores of Loguetown, Drakon's pace slowed, the wave dissipating as they reached the bustling port city's coastline. He stepped off the surfboard, Elara still draped over his shoulders, and made his way through the crowded docks. The sounds of merchants hawking their wares and the cacophony of the city's inhabitants filled the air as Drakon navigated the busy streets. He finally stopped in front of a sturdy-looking building, adorned with the Marine insignia. "Time to hand you over, Elara," Drakon said, his voice carrying above the din of the city. "The Marines will be interested in what you have to say."

Drakon makes his way to the base, as he was about to open the door, a man from the inside opens it before him. This wasn't the first time these two crossed paths.

"Another big catch, I see." Said the man with a serious tone.

"Yeah, some of us don't just focus on the little numbers. You know?" Drakon responded back

A short silence was followed than the two men burst into laughter.

"I'll let that slide because it's you. How have you been?" Said the man

"I've been good, how's Carol doing?"

"She's doing well, her training is also coming in pretty good if I do say so myself."

"That's good, at leat now you'll have some to carry on the masterson legacy. Right daddy "The father" Masterson?"

Daddys smirk grew wider "she's got potential. But the Masterson legacy, huh? You think Carol'll follow in my footsteps?"

"Only time will tell, now if you excuse me. I got to collect some money." Said Drakon as he made his way to the bounty collection office. After collecting his money, Drakon was about to make his way out of the room until they calked him.

"Hey, Drakon. I know I said this a hundred times already, but are you really sure you don't want to join the Marines? With your strengh alone, you could be in charge of your own ship in no time." He said softly

"Thanks, but like I told you before. I don't want to be tied with responsibility. I like to do my own thing when I want. Now if you excuse me, i gotta go meet up with Dadi Masterson."

"Alright, I'll let you know as soon as I found another bounty worth tour time then. Thanks again, Drakon"

And just like that, Drakon left the office and went to the local bar.

As Drakon walked into the local bar, the sounds of laughter and clinking glasses filled the air. He spotted Daddy Masterson sitting at a table, sipping on a drink. Drakon made his way over, nodding at the familiar face.

"Hey, Daddy. What's the situation?" Drakon asked, taking a seat across from the older bounty hunter. Daddy Masterson looked up, a hint of a smile on his face. "Not much, kid. Just enjoying a drink after a long day of hunting. What about you? You look like you've got a story to tell." Drakon smirked, taking a sip of his drink. "You were here two years ago when Monkey D. Luffy came by, what was he like? The son of the worst criminal in the world, the grandson of the marine hero Garp and the sworn brother of Sabo and Ace."

"Luffy, huh? He was just a energetic kid. Nothing more like, nothing less. He actually reminded me of Gold Roger, always smiling and facing life head on. Even when buggy was about to execute him, he smiled just like Roger." T two bounty hunters sat in comfortable silence for a moment, enjoying their drinks and the atmosphere of the bar. Daddy Masterson spoke up after a while, his voice low and serious.

"You know, kid, you've got a good head on your shoulders. Maybe one day you'll be the one running the show around here." Drakon raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement on his face. "We'll see about that. We'll see about that."
