Chapter 1 - ep:1-THE WAY BACK TO YOU

The spark before fire:

HERO: HA JOON

HEROINE:HANA

(Opening scene):HA JOONS POV-

The alarm buzzes like an annoying mosquito in my ear, but I don't move.

I just lay there, staring up at the cracks in my ceiling, tracing invisible shapes between them, thinking about... her.

I don't even know why.

Maybe it's the weird way mornings feel — half-dream, half-memory.

Or maybe it's because this school, this town, this life, keeps throwing pieces of her at me when I least expect it.

I close my eyes again, just for a second.

And like a stubborn song stuck on repeat, flashes of her creep in —

Tiny hands building sandcastles, messy braids bouncing as she laughed, the smell of crayons and cotton candy summers.

Back then, she was... everything good.

Before the world got loud. Before we forgot each other.

I sit up, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes, my hair sticking up like some half-dead hedgehog.

The morning sun is cruel, spilling through the blinds and exposing all the cracks I'd rather leave hidden.

Another day. Another reminder that she's somewhere out there —

maybe a stranger now, maybe not.

I pull on my hoodie, the one with the frayed sleeves and the memories stitched into every loose thread,

and head out.

Today feels different.

Like fate's about to knock the air out of me...

again.

SCENE : SCHOOL CORRIDOR (HA JOON'S POV)

---

I shove my hands into my hoodie pockets, zombie-walking through the flood of students.

Same old noise. Same old chaos.

Safe.

Predictable.

Boring.

Until she shows up.

New girl — standing at the front office, arguing with the secretary, arms crossed like she's about to throw hands.

Something about her feels familiar, but also... annoying in a way I can't explain.

And then it happens.

She turns around too fast —

her backpack swinging out —

and SMACKS me straight in the chest.

Hard.

I stumble back like some idiot extra in a rom-com, and she's just standing there, eyebrows raised, looking at me like I bumped into her.

"Watch where you're going, loser," she says, voice dripping with casual venom.

Loud enough for like, EVERYONE within a 5-mile radius to hear.

I blink.

Once. Twice.

Loser??

I haven't even spoken to this girl and she's already declaring WAR??

My mouth opens. Closes. Opens again.

And before I can even clap back, she's already walking away, flipping her hair over her shoulder like I'm not worth a second glance.

My fists clench inside my pockets.

This. Is. War.

I don't know who she is.

Or why she looks at me like I'm a cockroach.

But one thing's for sure:

I'm not gonna let some random new girl walk all over me.

Especially not when there's something weirdly, maddeningly familiar about her laugh...

like a song I forgot the lyrics to.

SCENE : SCHOOL CORRIDOR (HANA'S POV)

Ugh.

First day at this lame school and I've already crashed into someone.

Typical.

Of course, it had to be some tall, broody boy with messy hair and "I hate my life" energy.

He's just standing there, blinking at me like I insulted his whole family.

Which, okay — maybe I did.

Not my fault he was standing in the way, right?

I sling my bag higher on my shoulder and mutter,

"Watch where you're going, loser."

Not even looking back.

No time for pathetic boys.

No time for new friends.

No time for... whatever this dumb flutter in my chest is.

This school?

It's just a pitstop.

I'm not here to fall in love.

Especially not with guys who look at me like I just punched them in the soul.
