Chapter 6 - – Forbidden Class Awakening

Ashfield Academy had rules. Hundreds of them. But one was never spoken aloud:

"Don't ask about Room Null."

It was buried beneath the training wing.Locked. Abandoned. And sealed with scripture older than the island itself.

Until today.

⚙️ Unauthorized Awakening

Zehr stood before the sealed door with his hand resting on the burning map.

The flames shifted — aligning paths, drawing a new symbol in the air. A forgotten glyph.

Click.The door opened.

Inside was a pitch-black room with a circular platform — and etched into the center:A demon's heart, split into four pieces.

Kael felt it from the other side of the campus.

"Something… opened," he whispered.

Mikaho turned sharply.

"You felt it too?"

🔓 The Class That Shouldn't Exist

That night, Commander Virel summoned Kael, Mikaho, Benny… and Zehr.

"From this moment on, you four are part of Unit Null.""A forgotten training class… for students with unpredictable weapons."

Benny blinked.

"Why do I feel like we just got promoted and cursed at the same time?"

Zehr grinned.

"Because we did."

Virel continued: "Unit Null was abandoned after its last team went rogue.""But with the rising threat beyond the cliffs… we have no choice but to awaken it."

🧪 Weapons: Second Evolution

In the underground chamber, their weapons reacted.

Mikaho's Soulthread Bow split into two curved spectral blades, connected by spirit energy.

Benny's Clownhammer (yes, he named it) began laughing whenever it hit something. Not creepy at all.

Zehr's Map projected ancient battlefield simulations in real-time, turning his surroundings into moving strategy zones.

But Kael's chain?

It broke.

Literally snapped apart mid-air… and then—

Transformed.

The pieces reshaped into floating steel claws, rotating around Kael like orbiting blades. They crackled with static and blood memory.

Virel's eyes widened.

"That's not a weapon… that's a fragment of a Demon King's bind."

Kael didn't understand. But Zehr looked intrigued.

"Guess you're more cursed than I thought."

⚡ Practice Turns into Survival

Suddenly, the lights shut off. The walls trembled.

From the cracks in the ceiling, something fell.

A Shade.A demon born from memory — tall, faceless, and stitched together with whispers.

"It's not part of training!" Mikaho shouted."This wasn't summoned!"

Virel drew his sword: "Form up!"

Kael's claws moved on their own, attacking the demon faster than he could think.

The Shade whispered Kael's name in twenty different voices — all people he had never met… yet somehow recognized.

He screamed — not in fear, but in rage.

"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"

His claws pierced the demon's throat.

And then silence.

🌘 Aftermath

The Shade dissolved into ash.

Kael collapsed to one knee. Mikaho ran to him, gripping his hand.

"You okay?""...Yeah. Just heard… too many things at once."

Zehr stepped forward, observing the ash.

"Interesting. That thing wasn't attacking randomly.""It came for Kael."

Benny muttered:

"Cool. Love that. We're cursed, confirmed."
