Chapter four:
"I don't have a suit. Would it be possible for me to have help design and make a suit?" I asked.
"Follow me." Hawkgirl said. We walked to a room with lots of materials and machines in it. "Agent Davis, this is Travis. He needs a new suit." Hawkgirl left, and Agent Davis walked over to me.
"Amelia Davis, I've heard about you. You're the one who can run fast?" I smiled at her and shook my head.
"That's the one." I replied.
"You need a new suit. Do you have any designs? Or are we starting from scratch?" She asked me, and I ran my hand through my hair.
"I have a few designs, although, they are not that good. But it needs to be skin tight, or anything but loose. I'd like to have it blue, and white as well." I replied and she nodded at me, whilst taking notes.
"Spandex?" She asked me.
"Actually can you make it out of titanium?" I replied.
"Okay. You still want it white and gold?" I nodded at her yes. "Okay! Wait here." She said.
10 hours later she came back with a titanium suit that caught my eyes. It was predominantly blue, with white accents, and a white lining around it. It was long sleeved, with holes for me to put my fingers through. Amelia handed the titanium suit to me, and I took my clothes off to put it on. I stretched my arms and back to wear it in a bit.
"Yeah I like it, thanks!" I said.
"White and gold suits you." Amelia said before I went to the bridge.
"We got a hit. 67% match. Wait. Cross match 79%." Aquaman said.
"Location?" Asked Martian Manhunter.
"Tokyo Japan." Aquaman replied.
"He's not exactly hiding?" I said.
"Hiding in plain sight. Aquaman by the way." He said shaking my hand.
"Travis LaRowe." I replied.
"Superman." Martian Manhunter said and Clark Kent turned around to face him. "You're up."
The party was full in Tokyo Japan. People were drinking and talking, music was being played. For the most part, everyone was having fun. Ares came down the stairs, with spear in hand. He flipped the spear, caught it, and whacked one of the guards with it. There was a lot of gasps among the crowd, which provoked a lot of commotion. He grabbed the man speaking, and dragged him to a counter. He then set him down on the counter, took something out of his pocket, and stuck it in his eye. A cruel grin appeared on his face as he saw everyone clamoring and running for protection.
He then walked outside, and his suit transitioned into armor. His spear got longer, and a cape appeared on his back, and a helmet appeared on his head. A police car came speeding down the street, but Ares shot it with his staff, causing it to flip over. Multiple versions of Ares appeared before the crowd.
"Kneel before me." He demanded and no one obeyed.
"I said." He slammed his spear onto the floor. "Kneel?" He shouted and everyone got on the floor. "Is this not simpler?" Ares started walking through the crowd.
"Is this not your natural state? It's the unspoken truth of humanity. That you crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom dismisses your life's joy in a mad scramble for power, for identity. You were made to be ruled. In the end, mankind will always kneel." Said Ares.
"Not to people like you." An old woman stood up.
"There is no one else like me." Replied Ares.
"There are always people like you." Said the old woman.
"Look to your elder people. Let her be an example." Ares shot his spear at her, but Superman jumped in front of her, and deflected it with his cape.
"You know, the last time I was in Tokyo Japan, and saw a man standing above everybody else, we ended up disagreeing." Superman said.
"The kryptonian. The man out of time." Replied Ares.
"I'm not the one who's out of time." Said Superman and a jet came up behind him.
"Ares, drop the weapon and put your hands in the air." Dinah Lance said. Ares shot a bolt at the jet, barely missing it. Superman then shot his red optic beams at Ares, before the two of them started fighting each other.
"The guy is all over the place." Dinah Lance said.
"Black Canary, you miss me?" Replied Batman and the PA system started playing music. Batman then flew down in the area and used his batwing to shoot Ares.
"Make a move, god of war." Said Batman and Ares raised his hands up in surrender.
"Good move." Said Batman.
