Carlos' did not mind the busy workers. He only stared around the rowdy work station for a while and then pointed out.
"That's your cabin!"
And immediately Añña butted in.
"If I'll be working as a cashier instead of your secretary, let me know so that I can go home!"
Carlos stared at Anna and she stared back into his eyes so courageously. I mean — where was the fear she had earlier?
What a stubborn woman!
Carlos sighed. "It's fine. You can work as my secretary. And yes, you'd be introduced soon enough. You can go over to your office and have a seat."
Anna stared at him deeply and turned to leave, but she froze for a moment and then faced Carlos once again.
"Please do not leave. Just watch me enter the office!"
Carlos blinked.
What a strange request.
He gave her a curt nod to assure her and it was only after his assurance that Añña turned and started walking towards the cabin.
