"Hahahaha…. hahaha" Sasha chuckled loudly as if Jake had just made some funny joke with the statement he made. He could bet that there was absolutely nothing funny about it.
Sasha subsided the laughter after what felt like forever and then shakes her head at him. Her eyes went crinkling at the corners as Jake raised an eyebrow at her, as if to say 'is she nut?'
"So you actually thought she was trying save you ass? Really?" Sasha said, her voice was laced with amusement as she chuckled again.
"Yeah…. Of course." Jake said, his grin went faltering as he tries to maneuver and merit a justifiable reasons as to why he thought Mia was trying to help him out. He rubbed the back of his neck, still trying hard to make up something, anything to cover up. But damn, nothing was coming….
He soon realized that he was taking too long to respond, so he suddenly raised his hands and started ranting.
