Chapter 7 - Ch-6

Apollo is going to meet someone important today, tell me if anyone expected that :)

......

Ten days.

That's how long I had been following Hansu's teaching, and one thing was clear.

The man knew what he was doing.

He had me run for at least ten kilometers every single day. Each kick was taught, and he made me practice around a hundred times.

flexibility training Was the worst, but by now I had grown proficient enough to handle it.

I grinned as I realized just how broken I was in just a matter of ten days; my body had grown by a few inches, and I was infinitely closer to six feet now.

More so, I had even started developing muscles; it wasn't anything much, but it was a good start.

However, right now, none of those things were on my mind... After all, I was going to meet with a certain someone .

...

Apollo Rayden was an enigmatic character; if someone who had known the previous him saw him now, they would be able to tell just how different he had become.

Apollo was free, unchained, almost as if now he was his true self. Power did that to a person. Made them more of what they already were.

Of course he wasn't satisfied with the power he currently had. With the acquisition of The Ultra Instinct, he knew he had the potential to reach the top if things didn't go south.

However, power is achieved in multiple ways, and the most prime example of that was Charles Choi.

Most people would call him Elite, the second rank of the Fist Gang. He was just below Gapryong Kim, and that was a feat not many people had achieved.

Even after losing a hand and being old, he could still somehow defeat Kwak Jichang...the former king of Seoul.

Of course he had the help of a gun, but still…

However, that didn't make Charles Choi dangerous...what made him truly the strongest was his business, his allies, and his intellect.

Apollo believed he could grow stronger than him, and to achieve it, he finally went on his own chosen path...one of money, riches, and strength.

In front of one of the most elite private schools in Seoul sat a thin and averagely tall man. His hair was parted in bangs; however, one could still see the white sclera beneath them.

His eyebrows turned upwards, perhaps showing slight satisfaction. He looked forward, seeing his target coming.

The man in front of him was dressed in prim and proper clothes, school uniform if one must say. He had a cap on top. which made his hair fall in an awkward way.

His body looked lean and athletic; however, from the way he was clutching on to his school bag, it was clear the man was the studious type.

Apollo smirked seeing him walking out of the school gates. Moving in between his path, he offered his hand abruptly, "Nice to meet you, Mr. Kwak. The name's Apollo."

Kwak Jichang paused; he was caught off guard as a random stranger suddenly wanted to socialize with him.

He brought his hands forward hesitantly. "Do I know you?"

Apollo smirked and shook his head. "You don't, officially this is our first meeting... However, I have a proposal for yo"u.

Jichang was shocked before he composed himself; his snake-like eyes shone in the evening sun. "Whatever your proposal may be, I am not interested."

He shook his head and pulled out his hand, choosing to walk beside the weird guy.

However, one statement paused his stride.

"Even if it makes you tons of money and opens up the real truth of the world."

He turned back to once again see the absolute confidence on Apollo's face. This wasn't the first time someone had given him a proposal. In fact, Apollo's business skills lacked in comparison to many.

However, one thing stood out: when you looked into his eyes, one could see the sheer amount of confidence radiating outwards. It paralyzed those who couldn't handle it.

It was a beacon of hope, ironic since his eyes looked like the eyes of the devil.

It was something in those eyes that made Jichang think twice. Stopping in his tracks, he spoke, "I am willing to listen. There is a cafe nearby... Follow me."

Apollo smiled before he suddenly disappeared only to appear right beside him. Jichang was a bit surprised, 'That speed, I wonder if he is faster than me ?'.

The walk to the cafe was a silent one; Apollo walked with a skip in his steps. Entering inside, they quickly sat at the corner table for two.

"So, what is this proposal of yours?" Kwak Jichang's snake-like eyes analyzed every inch of Apollo.

His intellect was something that he considered his greatest strength.

"From your attire," he looked at the clear stolen clothes that Apollo wore, "you don't seem to be wealthy."

Apollo shook his head. "Jichang, tell me one thing. Haven't you noticed..." He sipped on his coffee. "You have always been faster and stronger than most people... In fact, right now, I can assure you, you will be able to beat all the kids in your school."

He almost gripped his cup too hard; he barely fought... In fact, studying in an elite school, he was meant to work for good grades and hopefully become a civil officer.

However he knew, his body was talented... however, not one soul could have known that.

He composed himself as he stared into the black eyes, "So what?"

His smirk was getting slightly irritating for Kwak... It was as if the man knew the secrets of the world, "You are talented, Jichang, enough to be considered a king prospect."

"Korea is currently in a state of flux, and with the arrival of the kings, it brings multiple business opportunities. I want you to be in the center of it... I want you to take Seoul as your kingdo"m.

His eyes widened, It could be that whatever Apollo was speaking was bullshit, but deep down, Jichang knew that Apollo wasn't lying... "Tell me everything...about these Kings."
