Chapter 12 - Ch-11

The Aura farmer Kim is in the game now ;)

........

Gapryong Kim—the strongest man in the entire Lookism Universe.People compared him to a dragon, and Apollo couldn't lie—he believed it too.

If before he only thought of him as a cool character, like a certain Gojo... now that he was in his presence, he finally understood how monstrous the man's aura truly was.

It was suffocating.

Turning back, he saw all the gang members bowing in respect to Mr. Kim.Even Taesoo had bowed.

'I admit he's very strong... but bowing down to someone isn't something I'm willing to do,' he thought, eyes locked on the incoming figure of Gapryong Kim.

The man was flanked by a massive, bald-headed figure.'Jerry Kwon's father.'

"It seems the younger generation doesn't respect us anymore, Baekho," Gapryong Kim said, stopping right in front of Apollo.

Both men towered over him. To the onlookers, it felt like two adults sizing up a child.

"But that's fine. First time meeting," Gapryong continued, offering his hand.

Apollo took it. "Apollo Rayden, sir."

Gapryong raised an eyebrow. "Rayden?"

He leaned forward, coming eye-level with Apollo. "Come with me. We have a lot to talk about."

Apollo followed him to a nearby car, catching Taesoo's shocked face from the corner of his eye. After all, the man practically revered Gapryong Kim.

Inside the limousine, Apollo couldn't help but gape. The interior was decked in luxury. A star-studded roof, tinted windows—clearly built for privacy.

"Must be bulletproof, huh?" Apollo asked casually.

Gapryong laughed. "No, it's not."

Apollo blinked. 'No wonder this guy died,' he thought, staring at him.

"Don't give me that look," Gapryong said with a grin. "You first-generation types don't understand. If a bullet could kill me, I might as well be the weakest man in the world."

He laughed again.

Apollo sat across from him as Baekho Kwon took the seat beside him.The man's sheer presence was like sitting next to the Hulk. Apollo gulped.

He was confident—not delusional.

He didn't know why Gapryong Kim was interested in him, but one thing was certain—if things went wrong, there wasn't a soul in the world that could save him.

He stared at the dragon...running through everything he'd done.It took a minute, but eventually, it hit him.

It wasn't about what he had done...It was about what he could do.

The Ultra Instinct.

Gapryong locked eyes with him. "Boy, are you from Japan?"

Apollo shook his head. As far as he knew, his eyes didn't come from any bloodline.

From the corner of his eye, he saw Baekho glance at his leader with a knowing look.

"Come with me," Gapryong said. "Let me tell you about your eyes."

The car ride was long. During that time, Gapryong told him everything about the Yamazaki clan—their leader, his eyes, and how terrifyingly powerful he was.

Apollo already knew some of the information, but hearing the scale of destruction the man had caused left him speechless.

Twenty minutes in, Apollo finally asked, "So where exactly are we going?"

"My Mansion," Gapryong said with a smirk.

As the car doors opened, he was met with a breathtaking sight.A sprawling property stretching over several acres. Perfectly maintained lawns. Servants tending to gardens. Dangerous-looking people manning the perimeter.

'I might even have problems dealing with these goons. What the hell,' Apollo thought.Sure, one-on-one, he could win. But if they came at him all at once... even surviving would be tough.

"What do you want, Mr. Kim?" Apollo asked, turning toward the enigmatic man. Throughout the journey, he hadn't sensed any hostility from him.

"Nothing, kid. I was just curious," Gapryong replied casually.

Apollo finally let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding. He turned to the man again. "I have a favor to ask you."

Gapryong raised an eyebrow, intrigued. In his long life, he had met many enigmatic people—Yamazaki Shingen, Mujin Jin, Jinyoung Park... and now, Apollo. He saw the same potential in this boy.

"I'd like to meet Mr. Jinyoung Park."

Gapryong narrowed his eyes. "You know him?"

Apollo nodded. "Of course. I believe he could help me with something."

"I can arrange that meeting. But why should I?"

Apollo had expected that. He barely knew Gapryong, and Jinyoung's time wasn't something easily bought.

"Think of it as me owing you one, alright?" Apollo said, flashing his confident smirk.

Gapryong looked at him long and hard. He reminded him more of himself than of Shingen.

Shingen was too emo—quiet, serious, always brooding. Come to think of it, there had been some news floating around about him lately, but Gapryong hadn't heard the full story yet.

"Alright then. Come eat first," he said, and the three of them headed inside.

The food was served quickly. During the meal, Apollo asked about Gapryong's plans, Korean politics, and even the current economy.

What he found surprised him. Gapryong was noble—genuinely trying to reduce corruption in Korea. And he wasn't just powerful; he was smart, informed.

"Who is this, Father?" a small voice asked from the doorway.

A young, frail-looking kid stood there.

'Jake?' Apollo blinked before realization hit.'Jake Kim—the future leader of Big Deal?'

"Jake, meet Mr. Apollo. He might become an important figure someday."

The boy looked at Apollo's black eyes and took a step back.

"No thanks, Father. I'll be out playing."

Apollo stood frozen, his hand still extended mid-handshake, mouth slightly open.

'This brat.'
