Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 How cliche

# Chapter 11 How cliche

Oak moved back quickly while throwing vials of black substance at the bear. The bear sensing something wrong dare not get touched by it and skillfully moving around and charging at Oak. Oak could move freely in this cave as he bought time to set up at trap.

Sensing and seeing what Oak was doing the Bear throw caution to the wind and rushed Oak. He pushed Oak against the wall and bit his shoulder causing him to grit his teeth. He started to punch and puncture the bears body and riddled it will holes. The bear suddenly let go and moved back seeing a tree root with a black substance nearly breaking skin.

'A super commander is harder fight then I thought it would be.' Oak thought as he put something on his wound. Which started to rapidly heal his body.

The bear seeing this charged at Oak again but he swiftly dogged it. This game continued for hours as Oak while in a forest was able to use plants for energy because of his Nature Transformation. During the fight his Gaze of Life was always active studying the bears habits looking for a opening.

Suddenly Oak charged at the bear sliding underneath aiming for the stomach. The bear getting cocky for a second smashed with his whole weight on Oak. But it first felt a root go straight through its stomach as many roots encased Oak to protect him from the bears weight.

Then many different roots with different colored liquids pierced through the bear. It groaned and feel limply on the the ground as it slowly died. After 5 minutes Oak got out from underneath the bear. While sitting down and archiving the plant in his immortal root. The Qi from the air entered the plant from the vines on the wall traveling throughout the plant activating the cells of the plant while many minor and major areas of the cell activated. After a solid hour he fully archived the plant and felt a incredible boost on strength.

He summoned a wisp of Qi on his palm. He noticed that the Qi's quality increased as new more dense runes were there.

'Fuck all these battles are so fucking difficult for super grade plants. The bear, a pack of wolves, a angry crow, and a hoard of bulls. But the gains were worth it. Now should I eat or turn it into a seed?' For the last three super grade plants he turned them into a seed mainly because those plant were extremely rare elemental type.

One was a thunder spirt fruit which he felt would be useful if he grew them in batches later. Another was a Dark bloom vine which he felt would be useful for poisons. Lastly and more important there was a Blue Luck Bamboo. This was a nightmare to get he had too poison all those wolves slowly over the course of a week. But this thing had a luck attribute no matter how small it was.

'Fuck it this isn't that rare and I'm sure I can find another one some other time.' With that Oak ate the apple and felt his body heating up. It was like he was on fire he felt his muscles quite literally burn as his skin was also lit on fire. He had to clench his teeth not to scream.

'Fucking getting mauled those wolves or speared by those bulls horns weren't as painful.' Oak collapsed to the ground and twituc3d painfully on the ground. This hell lasted around 30 minutes but felt like hours. After the 30 minutes mark he felt a cold and soothing sensation as he felt his mind expanding and his body strengthening this high lasted 5 minutes as he slowly got up.

'Fuck that high was god like it made the pain somewhat worth it.' He spread his Nature Sense that used the plants as radios. He could sense every thing in 80 miles with his Nature Transformation active. In fact he could feel his immortal root start to archive all the mortal grade plants within 80 miles. He of course could do this before but it simply was too much of a energy sucker with his Gaze of Life active.

299K, 305K,310K,.... 367K plants in total were archived around 82,000 plants where archived his immortal root. His mind was filled with knowledge as he rapidly digested the information. His body on the other hand was trembling as plant like runes ran across his body in every crevice it strengthened his body and spiritual capabilities. These runes mirrored what his immortal root looked like.

After around 20 minutes he opened his eyes and looked at a small pool of water next to him. He saw a handsome face with pure white skin and green eyes with long brown tree root like hair.

'The more I think about this the mortal grade plants are losing strengthening affect so soon I should move into the inner ring. Will I even need a whole year and a half to get the maximum benefit from these plants?... oh?'

His connection to the forest brought an interesting sight of a girl about 12 years old was being chased by 4 men with black clothing but more importantly she had a strange book she was clutching to her chest. He was immediately stunned and little interested how this would develop.

'This is just like those novels I read. Maybe I can get something out of this.' But Oak knew he had to be careful as he didn't want to be the poor bastard who was dragged into a conflict with every single sect in this place. Because some young master couldn't have his ego in check.
