Jason had no idea what would happen if a member of his Legion was killed, but for now, it was better to just make sure that they didn't lose against the Boss.
Besides, the little bastards had grown on him and he didn't like the idea of losing any of them. They were like giant puppies that could rip your head off in one bite, but Jason already loved the fuckers.

Jason chose yes, and he watched as the KP reduced by 200 and the UP increased by 2. Jason then turned to the wolves and called forward the two wolves that he had seen performing better than the other twelve Pawn Rank I wolves.
Those two trotted forward, and he transferred the upgrade points from his system into them.
The bright aura appeared around them as they slowly changed and grew into Pawn Rank II wolves, and then came closer and nuzzled Jason happily once the transformation was finished. Jason laughed and petted them on the head.
"Down boys. I'm happy you're happy, but you're way too big.."
The wolves yipped and wagged their tails excitedly. Jason still felt weird seeing such humongous monsters acting this subservient to him, but he had gotten used to it already, so he just smiled at their actions.
The Pawn Rank II wolves were at least 3 feet taller than Jason, and if anyone saw how they were bowing down to allow him to rub their heads, they would be stunned.
It was obvious that he was the pack leader.

Time passed quickly, and before long, Jason felt a hundred percent again.
His mana had been replenished, and he didn't feel any tiredness, so he knew his stamina was back. It took about ten minutes for Jason to replenish 140MP and he kept that number in mind so he would get better at calculating his mana regeneration rate.
Jason looked around at all the wolves. They were lying on the ground around him, but once he gave the mental command, they began to get to their full heights as their eyes turned predatory.
'We'll follow the plan. Deal with the regular wolves as quickly as possible so we can focus on the boss and his two subordinates. Two Rank II's focus on the boss, and the other two focus on the subordinates. Ready…?'
Jason looked around at all the wolves, and he saw that they had all zeroed in on the Boss' hideout. They were crouched low, like predators waiting to charge forward, and they were waiting for his signal to move.
Jason felt behind him for his knife, and once he felt it, he crouched as well and gave the signal:
'Go!'
Boom!
HOWWWLLLL~!
All the wolves suddenly shot forward as one, and Jason followed after them at a speed that he didn't know he possessed! The trees passed in a blur and their feet were barely touching the ground from how quickly they were moving!
The stronger Pawn Rank II wolves were faster, and so they shot ahead of the pack, barreling forward like bats out of hell. But the other twelve Rank I's didn't fall too far behind as they followed behind their stronger counterparts!
Surprisingly, Jason was able to keep up with the Rank I's! His eyes were trained on the Boss' hideout in the distance as he used the [Crimson Gaze] to watch their movement, and he was able to pick out the exact moment when the wolves in the hideout all figured out that they were under attack!
The wolves that had been lying down began to get up as howls filled the night, and the boss stopped chewing on his large bone as he rose his head up to glare into the distance!
But it was already too late! It didn't matter if they figured things out now because the Legion was already on top of them!
The four Rank II wolves burst through the foliage first, and the wolves in the hideout got into battle-ready stances as they prepared for an attack, but they were surprised when the Rank II's simply went past them and began barreling towards the Boss and his subordinates!
Some wolves tried to block the path of the Rank II's, but those wolves were suddenly blindsided as the Rank I's burst through the foliage with just as much ferocity and attacked immediately!
The entire clearing became a wild arena of blood and claws as the twenty-seven wolves began to fight for dominance!
In a battle, strength and speed were important, but numbers also played a big part in how quickly a battle would end. If the number of regular wolves had been fewer, then Jason knew that the battle would have favored his wolves, but with there being fifteen of the regular wolves, it would take some effort for them to finish things quickly!
But thankfully, the twelve Rank I's opened up a clear path, allowing Jason and the Rank II's to get ahead and move straight for the boss!
The Boss was already on its feet as it snarled at the intruders, and even from a distance, Jason could feel the imposing aura of the Boss weighing down on him like a mountain!
If his Rank II's were monsters, then this bastard was an abomination of nature!
The two subordinates in front of the Boss growled and shot forward as they tried to take out the Rank II's, but two of the Rank II's moved ahead and quickly took them to the ground in a tussle that shook the earth!
Teeth sunk into flesh, claws struck across eyes and skin! There was biting, mauling, growling, and complete anarchy as all the wolves tried their best to tear each other to pieces!
The remaining two Rank II's headed straight for the Boss, and the giant Black Wolf turned its attention to its two attackers. The Boss immediately recognized that they were once part of its pack, and it let out a soul-shaking growl at the betrayal. It was a low and ominous sound, and the added height of the boss only served to make it more intimidating!
But that didn't matter to the wolves! Even though they had once been a part of its pack, they were now a part of Jason's Legion, and only followed their King's orders!
And his orders were to attack!
They charged forward fearlessly, and the black wolf swiped across the air in front of it as it tried to throw them away! One of the wolves grabbed its paw as it passed in front and bit down hard as it was carried into the air, and the other wolf easily evaded the paw and charged towards the wolf's body before grabbing onto its neck and biting down hard!
The black wolf roared in agitation as it tossed the wolf on its paw away!
The wolf slammed into a tree and broke it easily, but it was back on its feet in the next second and charging forward again!
The black wolf shook its fur to get the second wolf off its body, but when it didn't work, it began trying to bite the wolf!
Slam!
Slam!
Slam!
A sound like metal striking metal filled the clearing as its large teeth snapped shut just a few inches away from the wolf's body! It tried taking a large bite out of its attacker, but Jason could see that it wouldn't reach since the wolf was still holding tight to its neck!
The wolf that had been thrown to the side finally arrived on the scene again, and it charged toward the black wolf from its rear! It jumped into the air and grabbed a hold of the wolf's behind before biting down hard on its ass!
HOWLLL!!
A cry of shock and pain filled the air as pain surged across the black wolf's ass, and it quickly dropped to the ground and began rolling around on the floor to get the two wolves off its body!
The tactic worked as the wolves were violently thrown off, and the black wolf immediately raised its paw to try and stab one of the wolves in the back!
But Jason dashed forward and slammed his entire body into the paw!
Jason might be a lot weaker than the wolf, but that doesn't mean he wasn't a lot stronger than he was before! So when he slammed into the wolf, he was able to apply just enough force to make the wolf miss its target, and its paw slammed into the ground instead!
The wolf obviously didn't like that, as it raised its paw and brought it down on Jason this time, but Jason stood his ground and crossed his arms above his head to catch the paw!
Boom!
