Jason stood his ground and crossed his arms above his head to catch the paw!
Boom!
"Fuck!"
Jason cursed as he felt the immense pressure from the hit! It felt like he was holding up a freaking house, and he was shocked that his body hadn't already broken from the strain!
Jason sent a mental command to the wolf beside him to get up and attack, and the wolf didn't waste any time as it charged forward and grabbed hold of the Boss' neck once more, pushing it away from Jason and giving him some time to breathe!
The second Rank II wolf also ran forward as it attacked the Boss, and the Boss roared as it tried to get them off once more! It bit, shook, jumped, and thrashed around erratically to try and throw them off, but no matter how hard it tried, the two wolves refused to let go!
Suddenly, the Boss jumped on its side and Jason's eyes widened when he realized that one of the two wolves was right under it! The Boss landed on the Rank II wolf hard and a loud whine echoed throughout the forest as the wolf was crushed under the weight!
A tab immediately opened in front of Jason's eyes, but Jason didn't bother looking at it! He needed to make sure that the Boss didn't overwhelm the remaining Rank II!
Jason raced forward with his knife held in a reverse grip! He wasn't a martial artist who learned anything from a master, but that didn't mean he didn't know how to handle himself in a fight.
At the very least, he would be able to keep the Boss distracted so the Rank II could kill it!
The Boss realized that it had killed one of the Rank II's, and a growl escaped its mouth like a laugh! It got itself up quickly and began shaking its body to try and throw the second Rank II off! The Rank II was holding the Boss around the neck and wouldn't let go no matter what, so the Boss threw all caution to the wind and jumped on its side to try and kill that wolf as well!
'Let go!'
Jason sent a mental command to the wolf once he realized what the Boss was trying to do, and the wolf immediately jumped off the neck, barely avoiding death by only a few seconds! Jason knew that if the wolf hadn't let go, then it would have definitely been killed!
The Boss got to its feet quickly and tried to charge the Rank II, but Jason appeared from the side and body-slammed the wolf, making it lose its balance and miss by a wide margin once again! The wolf roared in agitation and tried to attack Jason, but Jason jumped back!
'Kill this bastard!'
Three large wolves suddenly appeared from behind Jason and jumped at the Boss! One of them was the Rank II that was still alive, and the other two were Rank I's that had finished their own battle and were here to help out!
The fight between the Rank I's and the regular wolves hadn't lasted that long because the Rank I's were far superior to the regular wolves. Even though they were outnumbered, their strength allowed some of them to take on two at a time, killing them quickly and moving to help.
Right now, the battles still happening were between the Boss and the Rank II, and the subordinates of the Boss fighting against the Rank II's.
Jason felt through his mental link to see how many wolves had been lost, and he saw that along with the Rank II that died to the black wolf, another Rank I had been killed after being ganged up on by the regular wolves.
'That means I still have three Rank II's and eleven Rank I's. It's enough! I'll send half of the Legion to the Subordinates of the Boss. They're on their last leg, so they can kill them quickly! The others will come help out with the Boss!'
Jason shouted to the Legion in his head and laid out his plans to them and they all obeyed! The regular wolves were killed quickly and the Rank I's began charging towards the Boss!
The Boss was howling and growling as it tried to throw the wolves off its body! It had suffered many injuries from the claws and fangs of the wolves, but it was still on its feet and Jason knew that one mistake from him would be enough to give the Boss the upper hand. He had to be perfect in guiding the Legion!
The Boss was assaulted by even more Rank I's before it could get the upper hand and Jason ordered them to focus on blinding it! That way, it wouldn't be able to fight back!
One of the Rank I's that was braver than the others charged up to the beast's face and sunk its fangs into the Boss' eyes, making it howl in anger!
The Boss immediately grabbed it with its claws and threw it clean across the forest, making it slam into tens of trees as it tumbled through the foliage!
Jason didn't bother turning around to see if it was fine! He had to keep the others moving!
Jason felt through the link that one of the Boss' subordinates had been killed and Jason immediately felt a grin stretch on his lips. He looked through his tab to see how much mana he had left and saw that he had only 150 mana points remaining.
'I used a lot when fighting earlier. But it should be enough!'
Jason spread all his mana across the clearing and covered all the dead wolves in its power, and his grin widened as he said one word:
"Resurrect."
HOWWWWLLL~!
The clearing suddenly grew loud with the howl of wolves as they all pulled themselves out from their dead bodies and slammed their paws into the ground! Their mouths drew back into heavy snarls and their claws scratched against the ground as they felt Jason's command deep within their minds: Attack!
The wolves all charged towards the last two remaining wolves and Jason took a step back and found a large rock to lean against as his stamina suddenly dropped to less than half of what it had been. Sending a command to all those wolves—even though it was only one word—was still very draining. He would have to work harder on his stamina so he doesn't grow this tired in the future.
Jason watched as the two remaining wolves were completely overwhelmed by his wolves. They were trying their best to hold on and throw the wolves off them, but his wolves were relentless in their attack! And since there were now fifteen more wolves all fighting at the same time, the last wolf didn't stand a chance!
A few minutes, and plenty of wounds later, the large Boss finally fell to the ground motionless as it lost a lot of blood, and Jason watched with an empty look in his eyes as the wolf's heartbeat slowed, and then stopped.

Jason released a tired sigh and leaned back against the rock once the mission completed message appeared. He was so freaking tired, but he had done it.
He cleared a Red Gate on his own!
