Juliet's face turned bright red as she tried to ignore Mara's jabs. But when Mara grabbed her arm and wouldn't let go, she felt a surge of fear and embarrassment.
"Let me go, Mara!" Juliet protested, trying to wriggle free.
Mara just laughed and held on tighter. "Oh, no, little kitty! You're not going anywhere until I say so. You need to learn some manners and respect your betters!"
Mara continued to shout out causing a scene and drawing attention as more people turned to the scene while others walked towards them to have a better view of the ongoing drama.
The crowd watched in silence, some of them snickering and others looking away in discomfort.
Knowing Mara's bad behavior, no one wanted to step in and stop her because they knew that by so doing, they were going to be her next target.
Valeria who was also watching the scene still didn't intervene, but her eyes met Juliet's for a brief moment, and she felt a flicker of solidarity with the timid girl.
Juliet continued to plead with her but Mara simply ignored the girl, holding her wrist tightly and yanking it hard. This caused Juliet to wince in pain as tears began to flow from her eyes and she continued to beg Mara to forgive her though she knew she had done nothing to receive such punishment
One of Mara's accomplices called out to her "This girl lacks manners and we need to teach her what her parents did not teach her, she's a bitch Mara, punish her!"
Then suddenly Mara did the worst thing…
She snatched one of the cutlery knives from a table nearby as she settled her mind on using it to inflict a large wound on Juliet to teach her a lesson.
Meanwhile, Juliet was busy trying to free her hand, she did not think Mara would actually harm her since she didn't do anything to insult her, so she did not see or anticipate what Mara was going to do.
Juliet was so focused on freeing her hand that she hadn't noticed Mara holding the sharp object towards her.
But suddenly Mara left Juliet's arm which made Juliet happy but a little shocked that Mara had actually listened to her pleas. And she turned her head towards Mara to see her holding a sharp knife ready to cut her. Juliet was so shocked that she stood glued to the spot for a few seconds. But when she suddenly moved it was too late, suddenly Mara raised the knife and…

The knife cut through her skin inflicting a wound on her left arm causing her flesh to open up and blood to ooze out. A long hush settled in the hall as everyone looked on in shock and bewilderment. There was a long deep cut on her left arm and blood continued to ooze out. Everyone's eyes widened and their faces turned pale as they saw what happened.
Mara and Juliet also froze from shock as they saw the wound.
