Valeria stood there nonchalantly with a look of anger and disdain in her eyes, then she turned suddenly and faced Mara. Her cold eyes seemed to stare into Mara's very soul which made her tremble slightly. At the last moment when Mara was going to cut Juliet, Valeria stood up and run to the scene. She pulled Juliet in time for the knife to cut her sharply, she squinted as pain shot through her arm and her pupils contracted. She hadn't anticipated that the knife would cut so deeply and cause so much blood to ooze out.
Juliet stood there frozen to the spot with a look of shock in her eyes and she turned and gave Valeria an apologetic look. She was very grateful that Valeria had saved her but she was also worried at the severity of the wound. The rest of the crowd had recovered from the initial shock and they started to murmur amongst themselves.
The people who had seen what Valeria had done to the basketball player the last time stood there silently trying to hide their faces and prayed that Valeria would not hurt Mara. They knew she was so strong that she could tear Mara into pieces if she wanted to. So they continued to stare at the scene silently praying that Mara would just apologize to her. No one had thought of what Mara was going to do next, and when she finally spoke they all gasped in shock at her brave stupidity.
Mara who finally recovered from the initial shock turned to Valeria and glared at her with scorn and menace. It was evident that she was going to cause more scene and do something more stupid.
She sneered, "oh look here's another bitch, it's good that the knife cut you instead this will teach you too some manners and who you shouldn't mess with." She finished with a self- satisfied smirk.
Mara had heard that Valeria was a very proud girl and had actually beaten up a basket ball player not long ago. She heard that he had been sent home for recovery, due to the severity of the injuries he sustained. She wanted to teach Valeria a lesson but was also a little wary of the girl because she knew that a girl who could beat up a male player like that wasn't to be messed with. After hearing what she had to say, Valeria just turned around with Juliet with the intention of walking away. But then she heard someone speak making her halt in her tracks.
"What the hell is going on here?", the person asked with a voice loud enough to draw everyone's attention except for Valeria's. She knew the voice very well.
